We were beat tired and needed a place to crash for the night and pulled in here. Very friendly people got us settled and it didn't break the budget. If you need something simple and aren't to picky about amenities this place will do just fine. I wouldn't pay too much money as there are other options in the area.

The help was very nice and assisted in giving information on local information. Rooms were clean, but tired. Bed was very hard. Hotel has seen better times - an example of this is that one of the chairs was held together by old room key fobs screwed to the joints to keep it together.

We needed a room for one night in Hawthorne and didn't want to pay the $100+ rates for the America's Best so chose this based on TripAdvisor reviews. First of all the motel faces a side street, not the main drag so we noticed no road noise, which was a plus. Check-in was easy and the rate of $55/night was... More

We were on our way from Eastern Oregon to LA and there isn't much midway. We passed up a couple places and, based on previous reviews, stopped here. Very good price -$50 - and immaculately clean. Friendly folks. Furniture is old, worn, dated style, but the room looks to be freshly painted. Great shower. Firm bed. Thin pillows, but we... More

We have stayed at the holiday lodge on several occasions, as it is the perfect midway point for a drive between Boise and Los Angeles. When we're on a long road trip, we aren't looking for lots of frills. We are looking for clean, comfortable and affordable. The holiday lodge delivers this, no question. The decor is dated; walking in... More

The owners are so nice. The room is spacious and comfortable. It is clean and quiet. It is across the street from a gas station and across the street from a Chinese Restaurant. Not a lot of traffic going through Hawthorne. Nice Microwave and refrigerator. If you are on your way to the Berlin–Ichthyosaur State Park (90 minute drive) or... More

Not a lot to choose from in Hawthorne. Fortunately, the Holiday Lodge offers a large, comfortable room at a reasonable price. The HL is an older building that has been kept up well. Our carpet looked near-new and the bed was very comfortable. Anyone who traveled in the sixties or seventies will recognize the decor of the bathroom area (I... More

You couldn't ask for more for a stopover on the way to Las Vegas. The night manager was very nice. The room was large and clean with a nice carpet. The bed was comfortable. We slept well. What more could you ask for. The bathroom fixtures are dated. But they are clean and well maintained. We didn't turn on the... More

This very good review is certainly influenced by the high value that you get here. I spent $56 including tax for a king room, which turned out to be a large room with a flat screen TV with a good variety of channels, an adequately comfortable bed, a shower with all kinds of water pressure and hot water, a working... We were traveling in rural Nevada area and had to stop over in Hawthorne. After stopping at 3 other motels we came to Holiday Lodge. I was tried and there rates were reasonable so I decided to take my chances. It was not bad, in fact it surpassed my expectations. Owners lived on the property and provided a great service.... More
