Regrettably, in 7/2013 my wife paid $100 for a package that promised a three day, two night minivacation at the resort in exchange for attending a sales promotional presentation. I have tried on three separate occasions to obtain resort accommodations without success. Most recently on November 19, 2014, I attempted to make a reservation for mid-late December, but was told... We have not been to this part of Nevada before and found it very relaxing (unlike Reno). Easy access to highways going north and south and west. Did a day trip to Lake Tahoe both N and S Lake. Beautiful Lake this time of the year with the leaves turning fall colors! Okay - now the resort - we found... More

Ok, here's the skinny. I loved the hot springs. The first day I got there, my friend and I went to the hot springs and LOVED the facilities. The steam room was great and I adored the cedar wood sauna! Our room was really great (minus that I had to take 3 spiders outside. Yes, I could have called the... More

OK, just OK. Dated feel, behind on maintenance, thin walls, vertical blinds with problems. On the other hand, reasonably spacious, decent kitchen, comfortable bed (apart from the waterproof mattress liner that we pulled out), two-sided (living room, bedroom) gas fireplace, two separate sink areas in the bathroom, nice view. The main attraction is the hot springs, which are worth it.... More

We are owners of the David Walley's Resort and have never regretted it one bit. Soaking in the mineral hot springs is wonderful. There are different temperatures to choose from. It has been known by several of the owners that the mineral springs has healed them and one man in particular is now able to walk without a walker and... More

First off, yes I am a timeshare owner here. Have not been able to make our yearly trip in 3 years. In 2010 the place was showing severe wear. In 2011 we started seeing improvements and ate at the re-open restaurant which was good. This visit we stayed in the Dillon building for the first time and it was very... More

At first we were not sure that there was enough of interest in the area. Although a car is essential, it is a fascinating area with a lot of hikes, many golf courses, local museums and the Mono Lake and Yosemite Parks and of course Lake Tahoe and Virginia City Most of the staff are very helpful ,altho the front... I stumbled across David Walley’s while scouring the internet for an affordable place to get married in the Tahoe area. What a wonderful twist of fate it was! I was instantly excited by the venue from the stunning pictures on their website. After visiting David Walley’s and finding out more details I found that it far surpassed anything I had... More

I stayed at Walley's and even though I wasn't in the mood I thought if you like that kind of thing, and the person you are with, this is great. The only thing I would criticize is that it would be better if the hot springs had less of a bathtub theme and went more natural but realistically it is... More

Traded to stay at David Walley's Resort and we were pleasantly surprised! Our suite was facing east toward a cattle ranch. In the morning, as the sun came up over the mountains, the cows would mooo! We ate at the cafe and restaurant as much as possible. You cannot find a more generous pour of wine anywhere! Good food too.... More
