Historian Inn has not Responded X 3. This is the email I sent to Corporate..no Response. Hello..... I stayed at Historian on 6/8, I left morning of 6/9, signed CC bill and left for Virginia City then went back to the Bay Area. Looking at my CC bill I saw that I was charged for the evening of 6/9.....I did... More

When travelling, I don't tend to spend a great deal of time in Hotel/Motel rooms. The Historian was in the perfect place for a one night stopover for my friend and I on our road trip. I found the room to be in good order and well cleaned with everything we would have needed for a longer stay. The parking... More

While the location of this "Inn" is convenient, the rooms are filthy (carpets are deplorable) and management spent too much time apologizing for housekeeping issues which did not solve our problem of no clean towels and a room that was attended to during our entire stay. As a paying guest, I could care less about various staffing issues (i.e. front... More

I spent 3 nights at this hotel. Upon entering room it appeared very clean and comfortable. I noted there were no hangers and was told they don't provide hangers! After the first night they turned off my card key. I had to go to office to get them to reinstate (Hotel was completely paid in advance of stay). I had... More

I am sorry your stay was not as you, or we would have hoped. As I mentioned on another posted response, we had a large staffing issue during the time you visited which affected our housekeeping for 2-3 days very unexpectedly. I am so sorry for that and we have reached out to all our guests, including you, personally about... More

I fell in love with this Inn. At first glance we thought it was an old historic inn but it was even better. When we checked in the front desk staff was so friendly and offered suggestions for great spots to eat all within walking distance. The rooms are nice, clean, quiet, all the modern conveniences as well as many... More

I stayed here for four nights. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again. Be sure to check out the basque restaurant across the street. It was also great.

This is a extremely nice hotel in a small town that truly lives up to its advertisement. Large rooms with extremely comfortable beds and plenty of clean towels. The staff was friendly and offer a lot of good info on local restaurants and things to do. I enjoyed my stay and will certainly come back.

We stayed here before new owners, not a good experience at all. KUDOS to the NEW OWNERS! They have remodeled the rooms and the new staff was very nice. We enjoyed a bottle of wine in their little wine room and Crystal was an absolute doll and made us feel right at home. They need to keep her :-). The... More

This is a lovely hotel, right in town, that really lives up to its own advertisement. Our King room was beautiful, especially the slab wood countertop and headboard. We had a 2 pm wedding to get to, and the management worked hard to get us early check-in at noon. In-room amenities were high-quality (robes, lotion, fridge/micro, etc.) and there were... More

This is a small, in town hotel that is well done. The lobby is cozy and charming with a small café directly off the lobby. The room was nicely done, clean and comfortable. The service was accommodating and friendly. Great place to stay if you are not looking for big, trendy and flashy.
