My father and I have been going to this hotel for years. Never had a problem. Until now. We had reservations for the middle of July and when we got there they told us that our reservation was for July 1st. We didn't even get out there until the 15th! They had the reservations all messed up and didn't have... More

We stayed at the Hotel Nevada before, liked it, and arranged our schedule to stay there on this trip. It's situated downtown There is a small casino, a bar, and restaurant on the ground floor. Western-themed decorations throughout the hotel. The rooms are small, with mis-matched furniture, the bathrooms are tiny. No matter, though - they have everything you need.... More

Second stay. This time we got the Jimmy Stewart room complete with movie posters and pictures. Loved it and the big 4 poster bed is soooooooo comfortable. The air conditioner was not loud either which was a big plus. You get large portions of food at the 24 hour cafe. Was hoping to see the ghost but she did not... More

We really enjoyed our stay at this friendly and fun hotel. We even parked our motorcycles out front and they provided cleaning supplies for the cycles too. The food and the service at the restaurant were top notch. The casino is fun and the king bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was classic (small) but functional. Great place to stay!

Tired in the middle of a long desert drive, stop and rest in this casino hotel with a movie theme. For an extra $10 we stayed in the Ingrid Bergman suite festooned with her photographs and movie posters.Such a joy And don't forget the morning breakfast, if you ask for the morning special, a $3 plate filled with delicious eggs,... Nice Historic. Disappointed when we had to be moved from our first room, that we really liked, because the air conditioner was not working good. We were changed to a smaller room that was smaller. I would recommend this hotel. Had a good breakfast in the restaurant

When it was built in 1929, it was the tallest and first fireproof building in Ely (pronounced ee-lee). Next to the reception desk sits a sign asking you to excuse their dust as they are remodeling. I couldn't tell you where :) Our room was on the 6th and top floor so no noise above us, and save for the... More

We have stayed at the Hotel Nevada twice in the past few years. Most recently, we stayed the night while traveling from Idaho Falls to Las Vegas. Every wall is an exhibit of interesting historical artifacts and newspaper stories! The staff are friendly and responsive, and the beds are comfortable. It is an old hotel, so the rooms -- even... Just spent a 3 night getaway at the Hotel Nevada. Love the historic atmosphere. Restaurant food and service was great. New York steak one night and salmon the next. Both cooked to perfection. Front desk staff was great both on check in and checkout. Stayed here because their website said they were the only casino in Ely with table games.... More

This was my second visit of many trips across Nevada. I usually camped out at Great Basin Natl Park, but that's a long drive. Great place to break up the trip and excellent price. Much better than a motel room - very roomy and clean with an excellent restaurant down stairs. Friendly and helpful staff. One of my better choices... More
