Stayed at the hotel 2 times in March. Had a different unique room each stay. The shower was great once you figured out how to set it. The restaurant was great. Should have shared a dinner between us. Good food and lots of things on the wall to look at while waiting for dinner. Casino was fun, made some $$$,... More

The Hotel Nevada Staff would like to thank you for the kind comments. We are under new management and starting in April, we look forward to seeing major changes on the Casino floor and the accommodations. You have already tried our restaurant that is now under the direction of Chef James. We consider Chef James as the best Chef ever... More

We recently stayed @ the Hotel Nevada (night of Feb. 15 2014) For just a little get away. If you expect new fangled and chain comforts this is not the place. If you expect a step back in time, although a bit more comfortable this is the place for you. VERY charming with loads of personality. Love the old pictures... More

When we got to our room it was very cold. The air conditioner heater unit was so close to the bed it was difficult to adjust. The bathroom on the other side of the room did not warm up until the next morning. The room is very small, the bathroom is so small there is no place to set your... More

We would like to address some of the comments this guest made. Regarding the small rooms; most interior architecture during this period, both commercial and residential, are small compared to today’s designs. We do advertise the business as the “Historic Hotel Nevada”, built in 1929! We also recognize the fact that a certain segment of the public simply will not... More

We had a great experience at the Hotel Nevada. Our goal on this trip was to stay at local style or historical hotels and we hit the jackpot with this one. A really super friendly staff, particularly Mel in the Restaurant which served us the best Rib Eye steak I've ever ate! Perfectly cooked and 18 oz's! Willie behind the... More

The Hotel Nevada staff wants to say "thank you" for the kind remarks that you made regarding our services. We would also like to take the opportunity to thank the guests who left reviews that preceded this one. Obviously we do not want to see negative reviews. However, constructive criticism does help us maintain the best possible experience that we... More

Great place to stay, old hotel that still has the atmosphere but has been reburished. The check in staff were very helpful and friendly and the town itself has some great history. Would definitely stay there again.

We decided to stay here when driving through Ely just to have something different. The price was good, the room and everything clean and comfortable, although a bit small. They took our pet with no problem (something like a $10 charge, if I remember correctly). You do have to walk through the casino itself to get to your room. We... More

This is an old hotel, so it has small rooms, but clean and comfortable. Water heater can be cantankerous. Cafe was very good, and had a decent variety. Staff was great. We visited Ely to ride the Nevada Northern Railroad, so the old hotel added to the experience. Its fun to see the names of politicians and film stars on... More

While approaching Ely, we decided to do something different from our staying at the normal chain motels. We chose to stay at the Hotel Nevada and Gambling House. It is a building that was built in 1929 and has been in the same use ever since. The entire first floor is gambling and a restaurant. It is a smoking casino... More

We loved everything here! The friendly staff, friendly locals, the cafe and our nice away from home room! We are very sure we're coming back! We had some fun in the casino. This is the nicest place we have seen for the age of almost 100 years old. Very antique and lots of cute decoration! Fun place to stop for... More

This hotel is the biggest place around and was build in the old days. The corridors and elevator are a bit cramp but our room was fine.
