For the price, this motel cannot be beat! For less than $90, we had a large, pet friendly room (including pet fee and tax!). This is not a 5 star hotel, but it was quite large, 2 comfortable queen beds, a comfy chair, a nice sized table with 2 chairs, frig, coffee maker, free wifi, and HBO! Very clean and... More

I've stayed here several times over the past 20 years. I have to say that although it was OK, I was disappointed in my last stay for a couple of specific reasons. I reported both to the front desk at the time. When I opened the refrigerator in the room, it was obvious that it hadn't been on in quite... More

We were on a road trip through the Southwest and our first stop was in Ely, NV. The Bristlecone Motel was a great place to stay. The staff was friendly and the registration process went quickly. Our room was spacious, clean and had two queen beds that were very comfortable. My only criticism is that there wasn't a microwave in... More

Ugh... Had to wear my flip-flops nonstop bc the carpet was disgusting. Other than that...the location was okay and easy to find. We were traveling "the loneliest highway" and had planned on camping, but it rained. Any port in a storm I guess... They gave us a good restaurant recommendation, La Fiesta. Great margs! But..I'd skip this hotel...

Read the reviews ... some good ... some bad but decided to give the place a shot. Arrived fairly late after "doing" Highway 50 on the motorcycles. Walked up to the desk and was greeted with "Yes" as we had just gotten off the bikes my hearing wasn't the best so i responded with "what" and again the "YES" I... More

We were quite pleased with our stay at the Bristlecone. It was convenient coming into Ely from Utah via #50 and situated perpendicular to the road so it was quiet. The room was large, very clean, with a frig. Even upstairs has an enclosed stairs and a little balcony. The people were very friendly and accommodating. Beds were comfy, but... More

We did not expect the Bristlecone to be as nice as it is considering how reasonably priced it is! The grounds are nicely landscaped with green grass and potted flowers and the room was larger than most and very nicely decorated. Very good beds, nice fluffy colored towels and nice bedding!! We would definitely stay here again if we are... More

I laughed when I saw the size of the room. It was huge & had 2 sinks in the bath area with one of them being kid sized & both were red. I think it once had a kitchen & dining area & there was lots of extra space with the table moved out. Despite being old fashioned looking it... More

Our room was large with pretty furniture and a flat screen tv. There was a small refrigerator which was very convenient. Everything was clean and in good condition. They serve coffee in the lobby in addition to the little machine in the room. Terrific price for a comfortable room. This is our second time, and we hope to come back.

We have stayed here several times on our way through Ely, Nevada. It's 100% non-smoking which is unusual in this casino-oriented locale. Our room was large and comfortable. We'd definitely stay here again.
