Staying for an over nighter so we could fish Cave Lake and Illipah Resevoir. Check in was quick, parking right in front of room, clean and nice size for a 2 queen room. Meets all our needs and is pet friendly ($10 fee on top of room rate). Pretty quiet also. Would recommend.

Very clean, staff is friendly! Has real carpet not that indoor outdoor stuff. Great location, it is close to many food places such as a Mexican, Italian and a Chinese restaurant. There is also a casino near by. Staff will work to meet your needs and will recommend places to see and things todo.

If you are passing through Ely, you will find that there are not many options for spending the night. When we found the Bristlecone Motel online, it seemed the best choice we had, although we thought the rooms looked a bit old-fashioned. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised to find that this was not true. The rooms were very... More

New refurbishing of carpet, paint, ceiling covering, bed covers, TV, maybe even furniture makes these standard motel rooms nice to be in. Comp coffee and tea whenever the office is open. Easy in and out parking area. Nothing exciting but a pleasant overnight. One oddity, and maybe it's because the redecorating isn't quite complete, but there were no luggage racks/stands.... More

We had a room on the second floor that was the largest we've ever rented in a budget motel. They truly give you lots of space for about $80. a night. The facilities are clean, the beds are quite comfortable, the bathroom very suitable and the TV worked just fine. Parking is right outside the door, one story down if... More

Our room on the second floor had apparently been recectly remodeled so it was very clean and fresh lookong. If you take a room on the second floor, watch your step! The stairs are not evenly spaced. Most steps are about seven inches apart but there is one that is ten inched. I as well as others regularly tripped on... More

We stayed here three years ago and were pleasantly surprised although there seemed to be a lot of "rules" and the room was pretty old and dark. This time we are on the second floor in a newly renovated room that is really fine! Light and airy, lovely towels and bed linen, a huge flat screen TV and a brand... More

We stayed here for one night after visiting Great Basin National Park in Baker, Nevada. When we arrived the young lady at the front desk was very friendly! When we got to our room it was very clean. Outdated and old fashioned...well preserved...'60's or '70's decor...which brought back a lot of childhood memories! The only problem we had were the... More

The Bristlecone Motel in Ely is located on Hwy 50 just South of the junction with Hwy 93. It is a pretty standard two-storey motel. It is an older motel, but the rooms are well furnished, clean, and quite adequate for a short stay. There is ample parking just outside the rooms. WiFi is free, but the signal is weak... More
