I was passing through and looking for an option to the casino motels. Based on previous TripAdvisor ratings and comments, I selected the Bristlecone and was not disappointed. They are basic with no continental breakfast. I'm a light sleeper and was not disrupted by road noise, although I could hear the guest next door snoring. Clean and odor free rooms... More

Room was very clean. Queen bed, nightstands, table & 2 chairs. Bathroom was typical tub/shower, toilet, and sink area in room. Has small fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer. If you are a light sleeper, ask for the rooms far from the road. We were in the middle and the noise wasn't bad but it kind of echos. No frills motel,... More

If you're looking for a clean, quiet, nice little motel, look no further. The Bristlecone met our expectations, and was just what we needed after a long day on the road. Our room was obviously well-maintained, it was clean, and it was right next door to a great Mexican restaurant, so we could walk to get something to eat. And... More

The Bristlecone gives you exactly what they promise. If you don't need a conference center, business center, spa and pool, or mints on your pillow, then stay at Bristlecone. It is old fashioned, but very clean, beds are fine. Perfect to bag some Zzzz on your way through Ely.

We found this on Trip Advisor and thought we would give it a try. We found it to meet our expectations. We had requested a second floor room, away from the traffic and that's what we were given. Yes, it is older, but very clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly. It seems to be very quiet and is... More

We found the room very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accomadating to our needs. Worth a visit when in Ely, NV. You have many motels to choose from, this will fit the bill. Many eateries within walking distance though we stayed during a snow storm.

We arrived late in the afternoon on a beautiful day and drove by the Bristlecone and it looked very crowded and we worried we wouldn't be able to get a ground floor room but when we went into the office it smelled wonderful and the desk person was very nice and friendly. Our room also smelled really nice and looked... More

Yes it is an older Motel but it is very clean and nice. Well worth the stay. Stayed in room 223 nice size. Bathroom was a little small. Bed was very comfy. Still had a large tube tv in the room. No iron or ironing board. You still hear the highway noise but it was not bad.

My whole experience is this town made me feel like I had stepped back a few decades, and the hotel was no exception. It was quaint, and somehow appropriate for the area. This property was quite clean, and the room very large. I slept well, and it was easy to find. The only criticism I have is the bathroom was... More

For the price, this motel cannot be beat! For less than $90, we had a large, pet friendly room (including pet fee and tax!). This is not a 5 star hotel, but it was quite large, 2 comfortable queen beds, a comfy chair, a nice sized table with 2 chairs, frig, coffee maker, free wifi, and HBO! Very clean and... More
