There is a reasonable selection of motels in this old mining town in the middle of nowhere Nevada and this one turned out not too bad. For the life of me, I can't understand how the other reviewers could have given decent reviews of this property. It is a very run down, rather dirty-looking and poorly-maintained place. I like the place. It is always clean and comfortable. They remodel the rooms and make it nice. It is not the Ritz, but it is very nice. more

When Ely's casino hotels are full, and even the chain motels have "No Vacancy" signs, this recently renovated motel may have space for you, like it did for me.
