Stayed here one night to break up my long drive from southern Utah to Reno. Got the bargain $35+tax room. I made my reservation via calling the hotel - I was never able to find a way to make a reservation via the internet. The room I got - located at the very end of the building - was as... More

microwave, fridge (which gets cold enough to make ice), coffee maker. Lots of counter space. Flatscreen TV. Free wireless worked well. Friendly owners gave me the weekly rate even though i didn't know they had one. Curved shower rod with 2 piece curtain; inside curtain had magnets so it didn't flutter around. Lots of hot water. Ironing board and iron.... More

This is the second time I stayed here. I really wasn't going to write a review, but the night after I stayed at the 4 Sevens, I stayed in a big chain "Name" hotel in Mariposa, CA, and the difference was glaring, so here it is. First, as far as I can tell, pretty much everyplace in Ely is inexpensive.... More

I have stayed at this hotel several times in the last couple years. Rooms are old and dated but are clean and comfortable. The only downside is that if you need electrical power outside of a single gang plug, you should bring a power strip with you due to lack of power outlets in the room. Overall the hotel staff... This motel was a wonderful place to stay. It was clean and had all the amenities we needed..coffee pot,tv and refridgerator. The staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. The price was unbeatable too. Will stay here anytime we find ourselves in Ely!

Yes, maybe you could get a nicer, better smelling room (smelled like disinfectant) at a few of the newer motels in town, but I needed something inexpensive that didn't scare me just looking at it since I am an old lady traveling alone. The room was very small and I couldn't find a plugin in the bathroom but it had... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night on our way to Moab, Utah then Ouray, Colorado. We like to get off the main street (sometimes to save a few bucks). We were on a long driving trip so we decided to do motels instead of hotels. This place was right on the money!! They gave us drink coupons... More

After leaving one dump in Ely...we moved to our second dump...the "New Four Sevens Motel". We were desperate...there were no vacancies in this town and our reserved room at Hotel Nevada had been totally unacceptable...so, we ended up here (I believe they are owned by the same outfit...as all the little coupons, etc. were identical to what they were handing... I have been traveling to Ely for years, and you are not going to find anywhere in that town a real 3-4 star hotel. However you will find quaint, clean and simple all over town. This is one of those places and is walking distance to downtown business, and event centers and several local parks. McGill is actually more like... More

The Four Seven's is the Motel I always return to in Ely. The location is quiet and convenient for my needs and the rooms are clean and a nice size. The staff goes out of their way to take care of the guests and is always willing to work with you to meet your needs. Recently during a stay my... More
