Just happened on this motel. We got off the freeway and had to drive into town (we generally don't like motels near the freeway) to find this motel. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked into our room. Very spacious, clean and smelled good and we parked right in front of our room was best Very good room for the... More

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. My girlfriend and I were staying in Elko for the night on a road trip, and there were a lot of cheap places in town. Budget Inn, however, was just as economy and really nice! Very clean, nice staff, it felt very safe and best part is there is restaurant in the parking... More

As other reviewer notes, the hotel is much used by working people, probably mostly employees of the local mines, and the parking lot can be a bit crowded with trucks, but these seem to be hardworking people. They aren't noisy, rowdy or in any way unmannerly when I and my wife have stayed there. They probably need their sleep, and... More

Was able to get a room without reservation. Room [double occupancy] was good in size. Bath fixtures were out dated and floor was not level and squeeked under carpet.... but, it is an old hotel, so considering it's age, not a bad place for the money. Wi-fi poor and unable to connect. Very close to casinos and retaurants in old... More

The people were friendly and the room was clean, but the floor had lumps under the carpet like they had carpeted over stuff left on the floor! The rooms were old and upgraded only in the decor. The light fixtures were old and it was obvious where patches were on the walls. We slept fine but we won't be staying... More

Obviously a lot of miners stay at this motel on long term rates based on the amount of huge pickup trucks parked there. However it was not too bad. We did have a lot of trouble getting the wifi to work which was a pain in the [--]. The bed was hard but comfortable. TV was old and crappy .... More

I checked in, stayed in my room for 5 minutes, and left. I ended up staying at the Best Western down the road. It was pretty bad. My room was tiny, dirty, and smelled bad. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

We stopped into Elko to spend the night on the drive to SF. We thought of staying at the Holiday Inn, but it was booked. The hotel does not look very nice from the street. The service was fine, but we only used them to check in and check out. We did check out very early, 7am. They were willing... More
