Okay, it's an older hotel for sure but the price is right and the rooms are always clean and supplied with the basics. We are often there for an event at one of the casino's so expect some noise if that's what your there for. We've always felt the prices and location were great. Everything has always worked and we've... More

Wi-Fi does not work in the rooms or cabins, only the lobby. We had a "cabin room" but this is not a separate cabin, cabin rooms are in multiple-room buildings behind the casino/hotel building. The cabin rooms were reasonably priced but the walls were thin, you could hear everything in the rooms next-door and above. The building creaked badly when... More

Those of you who are familiar with the North Shore Stateline area of Lake Tahoe know what I mean when I say that the hotels here are "tired." The Biltmore fits into this category. You walk in and you can sense the blue haired quality of the facility. The furniture looks worn, the smells and sounds bring on a sense... More

Stayed as part of the Tahoe Tough Mudder deal because this hotel was one of the least expensive on the list. First night was in a cabin, which was ok; clean, flat screen TV, comfortable. Second night, our room was given away by mistake, so they upgraded us to a King Suite. Much better than the cabin, but the pull-out... More

How can a hotel stay in business with only voicemail? This hotel is old, outdated, musty, horrible & rude customer service when ever you come across someone who actually works there. I ask for a manager and am told "i'm not a liberty to say if they are working or not" REALLY??? If your lucky to get an room with... More

Staff is helpful and accommodating but rooms are not kept up. There was Peeling wall paper, cracked tiles, peeling shower rod, dirty carpets, no air conditioning. Does not really resemble pictures online. There is free wifi and cable and a nice pool.

My wife and I stop here a couple times while we were in Tahoe during Mother's Day weekend. Both times there wasn't more than three or four other people in the casino. The place looks like a ghost town. No one in the restaurant which is usually busy at least in the pass. The place reek of cigarette smoke. The... More

After reading other reviews I didn't expect a lot. They really were terrible. Uneven floors, holes in the curtains & old linens. There was a blowdryer but no coffeemaker which would have been nice. We didn't use the TV so who knows about that. Worst mattresses ever. I felt like I was @ Girl Scout camp with bathroom in the cabin.... More

The Biltmore has the potential to be a nice place. I think some of the hotel rooms have been updated, at least some pictures indicate that. But the cottages are horrible (dirty, paper thin walls, desperately needing work). It's sad that they don't put money into renovating all rooms and areas. Since Cal-Neva is renovating, maybe Biltmore will.

We travel to NShore Lake Tahoe every year give or take a couple over the past 15 - 20 years. We have stayed everywhere and one of our favorites is the Biltmore. The Hotel is older so one has to understand the imperfections. The cabins are clean and provide you with the necessities. You would benefit to bring along a... More
