Friendly, clean, family like atmosphere. Couldn't have expected so much from such a small place. The owners made us feel like a part of the family as well as if we were right at home. The clean, spacious rooms, to the friendly staff, to the beautiful settings of the area. Would come back just to stay here as a well... More

Really nice! We stayed at the Midway Motel Friday and Saturday nights (1-2 May, 2015) during the Silver State 300 off-road race. We were VERY lucky to get a room (a suite, no less!) at the last minute during the busy weekend. We had a main room, plus an extra bedroom, which was perfect for us since my teenage son... More

Nice, Clean and Quiet. Owner Robert was very helpful in room options. No rooms in Pioche so headed to Caliente to look for rooms. Very tired and no vacancies with all other motels until we found Midway. Super lucky we found this one. Night sleep was great.

What a lovely find this was for our "entourage:. There were 8 of us traveling together, even though our original plan was for 6 (3 adults, 3 children). Robert gave us the opportunity to get a feel for the room size and decide whether or not to get a second room - the decision was all ours. We went with... More

We were exhausted after heading back from Las Vegas and wanted to just find a place other then the car to sleep. so after traveling some more we stumbled onto this town of Caliente NV and we pulled into the very first hotel we saw. it had been around 10 PM and noticed that the place was closed. I thought... More

We may a reservation here in remote Nevada not knowing what kind of accommodations to expect. What a nice surprise. We found this on Trip Advisor and the reviews were accurate. Clearly build some years past the place has been meticulously maintained. It is set just off the highway through town yet very quiet. The owners were friendly and attentive.... More

The Midway Motel is a great affordable place to stay when taking the scenic route. It is better than many 2-star property's. A family business, Richard will take great care of you. And Pioneer Pizza [check their reviews] is within walking distance.

The Midway Motel in Caliente is one of those rare budget motels that raises the bar of what a budget motel should be like. The prison-like photo featured on TripAdvisor is very misleading... the place is adorable. Yes the rooms are cozy (i.e. "small"), but the bed was comfortable and there were so many nice details, including artwork, flowers, a... More

This is a nice little old fashioned motel, probably built in the 40's or 50's for travelers visiting the Parks. Very clean, tastefully decorated and uber friendly staff. You can walk the town, it has a couple of eating joints, great little bars and a Sinclair gas station!!

I was homesick because we were stuck training there for a month. Then we saw the hotel and we were excited. It looked great, great people taking care of us. A small community that took care of each other and knew each other. It felt great. Good rooms to stay in and it was hard to leave.
