Beatty is a small town and a few places to choose from to stay, most are private run hotels. Checked TA to see what the reviews were, some were mixed, but we decided to give it a try and made a reservation for delux king. Upon arrival they listed my reservation as a standard king, but then TJ the man... More

Having stayed in the Valley previously we decided to stay outside this time and the Atomic Inn was a great choice. Reasonably priced and cooler than the Valley. The rooms were great - clean and well appointed with character and "aliens" as well. We had breakfast at Mels Diner which is just 5 mins walk away and was one of... More

I was really looking forward to staying here, but my heart dropped when I looked closely at the room I was given ( #45 ) right at the back. . I honestly don't think anyone had been in this room to "freshen" it up for quite a while. The first thing I noticed was a stale smell. Well, I could... More

By and large I like this place. I've stayed here twice, both times in the rooms facing the street. The rooms are quite nice (large and well appointed) and clean. The bed works and so does the shower/bath. The price is quite reasonable and folks running the place are helpful and pleasant. Breakfast consists of a sweet roll, packaged oatmeal... More

We couldn't find any hotels in Beatty (about 30 mins of Death Valley East entrance) on hotels.com and booked this one via their own reservation system. This worked all fine. The rooms are sets of 3 in a mobile home type of building elevated from the floor. It was big and had all the appliances. The free internet works on... More

We brought a party of 46 persons to The Atomic Inn and we were pleasantly surprised in the improvements from our stay in 2013. The refurbished rooms in the front were very nicely done. One thing for sure, this place has character and will return. The management tried very hard to make things nice for us. We were even entertained... More

Beds are like sleeping on a box spring. Water stinks like sulphur and burns your eyes and hard to breathe when trying to shower or use any water for that matter. Chairs and carpet covered in stains. Bathroom was gross, shower all stained, grout pulling away from floor. Microwave works well. Bath towels are hand towel size. Comforter did not... More

We stayed here for couple of nights during our visit to the Death valley NP. We are budget traveller and always prefer small family owned motels over the chain ones. Most of the cases the small inns turns out to be fabulous but this was not the case for Atomic Inn. We checked in in a cold winter evening after... More

As part of a road trip around California and Nevada, we looked for an affordable place to stay near the Death Valley Park. We listened to the positive reviews and chose Atomic Inn. The lady at reception was so lovely and let us see and choose our room. The room was basic but clean and warm. Had everything we needed!... More

it seems to be in the '60, with that unique and distinctive character, check out the pictures, the lamps and some pieces of furniture. Way better than the hotel chains that are in the neighbourhood. It is basic, clean and affordable, do not forget where you are! The location is good for visiting the death valley and having a night... More
