We stayed here in our camper and loved the spot. It would be amazing if the bathrooms were cleaned and updated, and there was more than one dumping station. 150 camping sites and one dumping station is crazy. Also only a few offer water hookups as well, which was what led us to the bathrooms. It was filled with spiderwebs... More

We stayed here for a weekend as a family with small kids. It was ideal for a weekend getaway, but wouldn't be so good for a long period of time. The sites are large asphalt pads that are level. Easy access, but the utilities are in the back middle, not between sites. Bring a minimum of 30 feet of hose... More

5 stars because of the experience. Ignore the reviews about Caboose condition - IT'S A 60 YR OLD CABOOSE AND YOU'RE ON A CAMP GROUND. See the pictures I took of some of the things you'll actually see outside the Caboose. The camp ground is amazing - 5 lakes and alongside the river. Although we didnt go around every single... More

This is one of those things you do for the experience, not for great accommodations. We got to spend the night in an actual caboose, which was awesome for my kids (ages 7, 5, 2). The kids won't notice or care about the generally dirty interior or water damaged bathroom or uncomfortable mattresses. If you know what you are getting,... More

We booked a spot in advance, online, that had water and electric hookups. We were in #037. We were not far from the dump station, so it wasn't too much trouble to use it when we needed. We stayed 4 days 3 nights. Since we were visiting friends that were staying in Omaha, we drove into the town frequently. It... More

My son thought the cabooses were cool. The cabins were clean. They did have a few minor maintenance issues, but you are camping. They do sleep 6 as stated, but I would say 2 adults and 4 kids. The top bunks did not have enough head room for an adult body. The park itself didn't seem to offer much except... More

We arived friday at noon with our camper and were told our site was still in use by someone else from thursday night. Drove around and was not so we sat up. Restrooms were dirty and worn out. No close place for access to river. Overall poor layout for a campground with such a nice area

We visited the park to spend a few nights in one of the cabooses. We knew the kids would be thrilled and we were excited about it as well. The idea is nice, but these places need some work. I have no issues with rustic, but dirty is another issue. It was clear that the floors had been swept but... More
