Pleasant, helpful manager, ok breakfast, bed hard as a board and trains, trains, trains, constant train whistles all night long. Cheap, good for the money and would have rated higher if it wasn't for a train crossing almost directly across the street.

Great motel experience. Went to Halsey National Forest near by for a weekend of four-wheeling! Excellent steakhouse next door and motel had great assortment for breakfast. Motel staff were very friendly and helpful.

We stay here every year on our way to the Sturgis Rally, Very friendly staff clean rood. The TV has the most channels I have ever had in a hotel and I'm on the road 60+ days a year. The train tracks are busy but we feel that adds to the stay. If everything was perfect in life it would... More

We expected the worst, suffering thru dinner next door, but were pleasantly surprised. Everything clean. Staff was exceptionally helpful and answered all questions and added extras we asked for. Wanted another pillow since the first was thin. They came up with one right away.

Nebraska hospitality. The front desk staff and the maids were very kind and made our children and our dog feel welcome. The hotel is very clean. It is surprising to see vehicles in the parking lot from California and Texas. The steak house is just a short walk from the hotel. We think Nebraska beef is the best in the... More

Campgrounds are cheap because the Burlington Coal train tracks are very busy. A train came by no less than 30 minutes apart and honkek their horns for the crossings right across the street. Campground is taken care of and clean, but there were sandburrs everywhere. If you have a pet, they will get burrs. If you arrive in the dark,... More

There aren't that many motels along Highway 2 and this looked the best of the lot. I didn't like having the sink in the room instead of in the bathroom. The room was standard US motel, with air conditioner under the window, enough drawer space and water pressure. I never figured out the satellite TV. I heard that 100 trains... More

There is train noise, but if you have been driving all day it won't make much difference in how well you sleep.
