I checked the beds for bugs... None. The bathroom was clean. But there was white powder on the carpet along the walls... Bug powder? Carpet powder? Asked about discounts, old man at the counter said they were already included, yet his price was higher than internet (I couldnt get my phone to book room). If it hadn't been that we... More

I stayed here when it was a Super 8, came to town for a wedding. Some friends were a few doors down. (Would have been nice to put us near each other like we had asked). Since I didnt know the area well, I parked my car directly outside of our room and watched it most of the night.. and... More

Absolutely the worst! Nasty, gross, unfriendly at best!! Do yourselves a favor and don't stop here! Agree totally with all the other comments. This place has no business even being open! Couldn't understand the front office guy who was there the whole time. Poor language and not at all friendly. All we could say was that it had running water... More

Have stayed twice before when it was a super 8 and it was just ok. Now it has really gone downhill from there. The rooms seem unkept and very dated, obvious items have not been repaired. Beds are not comfortable. Breakfast is minimal at best. Owner or manager that is there does not communicate well with customers. Next time in... More

I could barely understand most of what the desk clerk said due to his accent. That is the only employee we ever saw or spoke with, even when I called to make the reservation. He was at the front desk at 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. at night. I assume he is the owner. I was talked to very rudely... More

Had a wedding in Seward, and due to a Concordia University event, we ended up at the Sunset Inn and Suites. If this place had been $50 bucks per night, I wouldn't complain. At $100 per night, this was atrocious. Bed was comfortable, room was reasonably clean, so it was basically sound. The room smelled like it had been smoked... More

This motel was by far the worst motel we have ever stayed at! The lobby had the air conditioner covered with plastic with an outside temp of 95. AWFUL! Did not have my reservation which was made 2 months prior. Hallways were filthy! Room was not as bad as one would expect with all the other filth in the hallways,... More

Finding rooms were booked in the area for several towns, I booked online through Expedia at approx. 7:pm-7:30pm. After booking I read some really bad reviews from 5-13 on tripadvisor. I immediately called the motel to cancel (could barely understand the clerk) but was told to call Expedia--who told me to call the motel. After spending 45 min on various... More

We were on our way from Minneapolis to Colorado and needed a place to sleep. Thought we'd drive through Lincoln and then stop. Found this hotel on my phone and photos looked decent. They must have been extremely old photos. Theyalso accepted pets for an additional $15.00. Our total bill for the night was $93.00. We skipped the free breakfast... More

I hate to give such a low grade, but Sunset Inn and Suites deserve it! We were in town with family to attend the Concordia graduation. So rooms in the vicinity/town were scarce. This is what we had at Sunset: Rooms were tiny, dark, damp and smelly. No elevators to 2nd floor. Creaky narrow stairs. Duct tape on carpet. My... More
