Wonderful bed and breakfast! Great atmosphere, hospitality and a great cup of joe! I highly recommend. It's only 20 minutes away from omaha. Carroll, the owner, has a beautiful house from the early 1900s and has renovated it with antiques an it's wonderful. So relaxing.

We came to Plattsmouth for a family reunion and chose the Parmele House to stay at because another family member had booked a room there. Having never stayed at a B&B ourselves, we were a bit uncertain of what we would find, but as soon as I called Carroll to make our reservation, my 'wonderings' were put to rest and... More

My husband and I spent the night at this B & B. Carroll, the owner, was very charming and hospitable. She even watched TV with us in the comfortable living room. We had the least expensive room, and we were very comfy. There was everything we needed, including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Carroll served an exquisite breakfast on the... More

We chose Parmele House for our four-night anniversary trip to the Omaha area and we were not disappointed. Caroll is an amazing hostess and she made us feel right at home in her beautiful house. Breakfasts are varied and delicious and she accommodates dietary restrictions. Carroll is knowledgeable about the eastern Nebraska/western Iowa area and is glad to offer info... More

My daughter and I traveled to this very small town for a wedding. Needless to say there was only one hotel in town and it was booked. The bride made our reservation in this very quaint bed and breakfast. The amenities were good, the owner very helpful and the food great. the setting of the house was very pretty and... More

Super comfortable beds, Carroll is an amazing hostess. Breakfast always wonderful. We have stayed twice, and plan to stay again in the late fall. Wonderful getaway from KC area. We took friends this time and the kids and Carroll was very accommodating at the last minute to make sure we could stay with her. Just a short jaunt to the... More

We celebrated our 20th anniversary here. It is very relaxing. Carroll is an amazing hostess :) Our room very comfortable. Breakfasts were delightful out on the front porch! You gotta make this a must stop on your trip to Plattsmouth, NE!

There were three couples involved in our overnight stay at the Parmele House. There are three rooms for rent, so we took over the whole house. The rooms were very spacious, decorated very nicely, and we enjoyed the feeling of going back in time. Our room was the Mayor's Suite, and we loved the bed (so comfortable), the decor (very... More

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was nice and the breakfast was tasty. Our host, Carol, was very pleasant. She had a lot of interesting stories. I recommend staying. Book 2 nights if you can to fully enjoy everything this B&B has to offer.

Carol does a fantastic job at making guests feel at home. House is very large and the interior is loaded with rich wood and trinkets of the west. Front yard needs some attention, but not possible with the drought that has plagued the area this summer. Price is very reasonable and hostess Carol is very cordial and helpful to direct... More
