My husband stayed at the Husker In in June 2014 when he drove to Baja, Mexico. Linda and the rooms made such an impression on him that he wanted us to stay there on our return trip from La Paz, BCS, Mexico. The price is affordable and everything is as neat as a pin. The gardens add such a beautiful... More

This is a great place to stay when travel through or while visiting North Platte. The owner is very friendly and the rooms are freshly updated. The price is very reasonable. This place looks as good on the outside as it does on the inside. Just an overall great place to stay.

This small motel is the best place to stay in North Platte. The rooms are very clean and so comfortable it's like being at home. The whole place is well kept and so cute. The service beats any hotel anywhere in the area. The owner is incredibly friendly and appears to genuinely appreciate your business...there's a big change after staying... More

If you ever find yourself in North Platte, Nebraska there's only one place to stay if you spend the night. The Husker Inn on East 4th St. Has top quality rooms like you would find at a Hampton or Fairfield or even a Marriott starting at $40 per night. You can't go wrong!

Rooms are clean (but this is an older inn so they are small) and up to date. ALL the outlets are built-in baby proof. This is SUCH a relief when travelling with little ones as I have been known to travel with outlet covers just so my baby doesn't shock himself while travelling! They really do insist you eat their... I saw the ratings for The Husker Inn so decided to give it a try. Was there June 19, 2014 on my trip from Montreal, Canada to La Paz, BCS, Mexico. Out of all the places we stayed in this was one if not my favorite. When I went to check in Linda the owner was so helpful. She recommended... More

What a cool little motel off the beaten path! Had stayed here in the 70s and past it many times since thinking, "I bet it is really run down"! Guess again! Might have been one of the cleanest and friendliest Motels I have ever stayed in, Gave me food when I checked in, gave me food when I checked out.... More

Really enjoyed our one night stay in this "back in time" hospitable motel. My wife and I were greeted with a friendly face, and enjoyed a delicious smoothie before checking into our cozy room. The furnishings were 1st class and the bed soft and comfortable. We visited the Train Museum (free/donation) and ate a good steak at the Depot; both... More
