Stayed here as a family of five and would highly recommend this hotel. Warmly welcomed by cheerful receptionist, shown to our rooms which were spacious and spotlessly clean. Our evening meal was excellent and the owner was cheerful and very attentive. Breakfast had a wide selection of both buffet and cooked meals which were all of high standard. The hotel... More

Everything about this hotel works well. The staff are all charming and efficient. The food is good. Our room was a large 'castle room' with fine views. The decor is panelled walls, tartan theme. The location was slightly disappointing but only because I had confused it with another and thought we would have the waters of the Firth lapping within... More

Lovely hotel, lovely food. We were made to feel very welcome and were very well looked after by all the staff. The owners should be very proud. The Englishman who mainly worked in the bar more than went out of his way to assist us. Can't fault it at all and can't recommend it enough.

Last Saturday evening we had a table for 4 and again had an excellent evening. We had not been for a few months and had noticed that things had changed yet again for the better. The general presentation of the staff and the building was excellent, the frontage with the nice flower pots was very welcoming, this feeling flowed through... More

I'd like to thank the very nice people at Kincraig Castle Hotel. I spent only one night as I was joining Britannia at Invergordon. Having flown from Malaga via Manchester it was such a pleasant surprise to find myself in this wonderful setting. The dinner when I arrived in the evening, and the breakfast the next morning were typical Scottish,... More

Popped in for afternoon tea and ended up staying for 10 hours! Finally somewhere local that serves beautiful food and offers a top quality service to go along with it. Very friendly and welcoming staff, who have a cut of quality service above others. The gardens are immaculate with lovely views across the water. It was so good I had... More

What a terrific spread we had. Sandwiches, scone with jam and cream, cake , biscuits , macaroons and to finish a piece of tablet. Needed a goody bag! I will definitely be spreading the word amongst local friends, the setting is beautiful, lounge very relaxing and service great. Couldn't ask for more and not that expensive. Can't wait till another... More

I had the good fortune to arrive here for a midweek evening dinner. Over the years I have been to a number of Highland country hotels and some have been better than others. On a Monday evening I admit I would have been pleased with a 5/10. The Kincraig however confounded my modest expectation - excellent food, a decent choice... More

This was a business trip and booked through Booking.com, an excellent price and an easy booking process. Hotel is on the hillside overlooking Invergordon, the A9 road is at the end of the drive but you cannot hear the traffic. Staff very friendly and nothing was too much bother during my stay. I ate in the bar and a starter... More

Warm, comfortable, traditional, with the most helpful staff, especially in Reception where they even drew maps for me to find a specific car-park in Inverness! There is no lift (hence my 4 instead of 5 stars) but the receptionist quickly called someone to take my case. I couldn't fault the hotel and the food was excellent; but it was hard... More
