This hotel was beyond hideous.
I was well aware we were booking a hotel that was not a four-star, deluxe, luxury hotel. We were traveling across country, and all I wanted was a simple, clean, no-frills hotel. But every inch of the place was filthy.
- The property looked filthy from the road. The front desk was a small glass room, which was saturated with cigarette smoke - the owners are not big believers in fresh air.
- Our room was even worse - dirty linens, a carpet that had been repeatedly flooded and was damp and moldy, and worst of all, an air-conditioning unit that was covered with mold. Not just one small speck of it, but it was ENCASED with mold.
The air quality and lack of clean linens made it impossible to stay at the property for very long. Since we booked it through Travelocity, we forfeited nearly $70 and fled to a nice hotel downtown.
I hate to be mean, but honestly, I wouldn't allow a wounded stray dog to stay here.
