To anyone considering staying at the Settle Inn of Lincoln, Nebraska: DON'T DO IT! This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I wasn't sure what to expect but my girlfriend was interested in the theme rooms so we booked a one-night stay as a weekend getaway. I will say that the rooms are fairly large but I was disappointed. We booked The Husker Room and had a wonderful time. We loved the fireplace. It was romantic. Everything was great. We would come back again. more

Stayed in the jungle room just for fun. It was extremely tacky, plastic vines and all. Scratched paint & mold on the ceiling. Extremely noisy & bright through the windows. Not worth the stay at all! more

I stayed here per finding a coupon in a travel guide at a gas station/rest stop. I travel a fair amount for business and don't always make reservations ahead of time due to the fact that I'm not always sure which town I will stop in for the night. The stay was ok, the problem was I did the express check out, I was quoted $63 when I made reservations and when I got my credit card bill I was billed $83. I called and they would never return my call. Please check your bill before you leave. more

Problems started when we first arrived. My in-laws made reservations a few weeks prior and they were not told that the swimming pool was going to be remodeled during our time of stay. the hot tub made so much noise you could not hear the tv. HBO did not work when i talked to desk clerk he said he would tell mananger,and i still have not heard from anyone. more
