We recently stayed 3 nights at the Cornhusker while visiting the U of Nebraska with our daughter. The rooms are nicely renovated, quiet and comfortable. Wireless internet is a plus. The service was great, staff was friendly. Downtown Lincoln is very quiet on summer weekends so street parking was widely available and free on Sunday. Otherwise you can use the... more

We used Priceline successfully to book two nights at the Cornhusker. My wife, an NU alum and almost Lincoln native, looked forward to this stay and seeing once again her favorite Lincoln places. Well! This Cornhusker wasn't The Cornhusker of yore (thank goodness, in my opinion). It's a well-managed and well-cared-for replacement for the Cornhusker imploded some years back. We... more

Two one night stays about 10 days apart in Feb. 2009. I found the hotel comfortable and exactly what I'd expect from a Marriott, particularly at this price-point. I've stayed at better (Golden, CO comes to mind) and somewhat lesser (Omaha West) Marriotts. This was a fine mid-point hotel. My two dislikes were: the no in-out parking, and very poor... more

I was apprehensive about the name "Cornhusker" at first as I have not been through Nebraska. All apprehensions were relieved upon our arrival. My wife and I arrived at 4:00pm local. The Cornhusker is a Marriot Hotel. We walked in, were greeted by the desk representative, and offered the valet / bellhop. The valet was also the bellhop. He helped... more

We stayed at this hotel for our Wedding Anniversary. A few things bugged me. There was no hot tub at the pool which is very odd for such a large nice hotel. No fridge or microwave in the room, which also is odd for higher end hotels. The room was clean but a little dated. The furniture was old but... more

The Cornhusker is a Marriott property south of the University in Lincoln, NE. The hotel is well situated for downtown business, and there are many restaurants close by. The hotel restaurant is not too bad at all, with good service and good food at predictably high hotel prices. My room was clean to a fault, all the fixtures and furniture... more

I stayed at the Cornhusker Hotel on a recent business trip to Lincoln. My room was of good size with the typical comfortable Marriott Bed. Check in was smooth and efficient. The Conhusker is conveniently located to numerous restaurants and pubs in the downtwon Lincoln Hay Market area. I had no problem with my room or the amenities at the... more

I went to Lincoln on an apartment hunt. I got a new job and have to move there in a hurry. I was dismayed at the lack of parking in front of the hotel. There is only room for a handful of cars and all of the places were filled. The valet was nowhere to be seen, I have never... more

I stayed here for a work conference. It was a nice business hotel. They had just been going through renovations I think because the room was fairly updated. The bed was comfy and a bit nicer than you would sometimes expect from a business service hotel. I'm not sure of the other options in Lincoln but I think this would... more

I had a pleasant 4 night stay at the Mariott. I had a conference there, thus it was most convienient to stay there. The hotel has an airport shuttle but one has to call it for it to come. I was bit frustrated because I booked my room 2 months in advance and asked for a king size bed, which<... more
