Hotel has been well renovated with updated beds and furniture. They did a great job and my stay was very comfortable. My King room had a sofa which was comfortable. The hotel is connected to the downtown skywalks which was much appreciated during the winter weather.

The staff at the Cornhusker is top notch. The concierge lounge provided a gormet, healthy breakfast selection each morning. Waffles with smoked salmon, capers, eggs and onion were our favorite. Tom made sure each person felt welcome and cared for in a first class way. The evening server Elle made excellent suggestions for dinner on the town in Lincoln. The... More

Poor room even after the updates. They missed the finer details. The blinds won't close all the way. No fan in the bathroom! Shower had no pressure and luke warm water. self playing piano=biggest draw

For all the millions of investment and PR they left out a Jacuzzi. Even the most lowly Marriotts get Jacuzzis but not this historically renovated multimillion dollar property. That's a shame especially being in cold Lincoln. Also the food quality in Concierge is sub-par. The facility is beautiful but the food is not really at the usual Marriott level, and... More

The hotel is not your typical Marriott property. The rooms are nice and provide all the standard amenities you would expect from a Marriott property. The bed was comfortable and the TV was large and offered several channels. There was also a desk with chair including a separate sitting chair. The room had excellent lighting and lots of outlets for... More

24 years ago, my wife and I were married, and had our reception in this hotel in Lincoln. At the time it was not a Marriott Hotel, and had an incredible Sunday Buffet. Over Thanksgiving this year, we decided to spend one of our award nights on the hotel when we were in town. Checkin was painless, and the Hotel... More

I stayed here a few weeks ago on a business trip in Lincoln. I was a nice hotel and easy to find located in downtown. Overall the hotel seemed a little dated but nice. There is a nice sports bar in the hotel that seemed to have some good activity. Not sure how much activity is actually in Lincoln (other... More

Hard to say more than that it is a standard Marriott. No frills, no fuss. Parking is behind the hotel, $9 a day (more if entering/leaving a lot), and painless. The lobby area seemed mostly non-existent since it is shared with the building next door. Front desk staff were pleasant but not so aware of the hotel's history. I suspect... More

My husband & I stayed 3 nights at The Cornhusker over the recent Thanksgiving holiday. We decided to stay here since prices were so low (~$129/night) during a non-game day week for Husker football. There's no way we'd pay over $300/night during a game week, but we had heard good things about the hotel so took advantage of the lower... More

My husband and I traveled to Lincoln with another couple for the Nebraska/Minnesota game (Go Gophers!!!). We made our reservations and paid for our rooms nearly a year in advance. For a three night stay, the total -- including taxes -- was just over $700. Not bad considering it is the nicest hotel in town and it was a football... More
