Hard to say more than that it is a standard Marriott. No frills, no fuss. Parking is behind the hotel, $9 a day (more if entering/leaving a lot), and painless. The lobby area seemed mostly non-existent since it is shared with the building next door. Front desk staff were pleasant but not so aware of the hotel's history. I suspect... More

My husband & I stayed 3 nights at The Cornhusker over the recent Thanksgiving holiday. We decided to stay here since prices were so low (~$129/night) during a non-game day week for Husker football. There's no way we'd pay over $300/night during a game week, but we had heard good things about the hotel so took advantage of the lower... More

My husband and I traveled to Lincoln with another couple for the Nebraska/Minnesota game (Go Gophers!!!). We made our reservations and paid for our rooms nearly a year in advance. For a three night stay, the total -- including taxes -- was just over $700. Not bad considering it is the nicest hotel in town and it was a football... More

Room was over $300 a night. The bed was way too soft and the shower had no pressure. No continental breakfast; had to dine at hotel restaurant. Beds were awfully small. There was no hotel parking that was free; paid $20 to park my car. I think a guest in a hotel should have free parking.

I was very pleased with my stay at The Cornhusker. The room was tastefully renovated, large in size, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept on. Check-In was a pleasant experience. I was asked if I had stayed with them before. When I replied no I was assigned a room with a nice view of downtown.... More

After a long day of travel I finally got to the hotel. The stay got off to a bad start when I stood on the curb waiting for the valet. Had to finally go look for him. The room was clean, and consistent for the Marriott brand. Went down to the Miller Time Pub and Grill, which was advertised in... More

Whenever I'm in Lincoln, The Cornhusker is always my first choice. Its proximity to downtown makes doing business in Lincoln a snap. The recent renovations have turned a traditionally nice hotel into a progressive, "go-to" hotel with the best amenities in town. Service is exemplary with staff proactively offering to assist travels in whatever way might make the experience at... More

It had been some time since I had stayed at the Cornhusker and I was very pleased with the hotel. The rooms are comfortable, clean and roomy. The location of this hotel is perfect if you are visiting the capitol, city campus or other downtown businesses. I was here the week that students were moving in to campus, so the... More

If your travels take you to Lincoln, you would be hard pressed to find a better hotel. The renovations are complete and the hotel is in great shape with very nice public spaces and large, clean, well appointed rooms. The staff were all very helpful (although some seemed a little inexperienced). I stayed for 4 nights during a conference. The... More

This place used to be a pit. So bad that it lost its Marriott association and had to cover the word "Marriott" on the side of the hotel. But all that has changed. It is now nice enough that I wouldn't be embarrassed for someone I know to stay there. This place is a historic hotel in Lincoln, the first... More
