Employees sitting around in comfy chairs in lobby when arrived. They made me feel like I was bothering them. This hotel doesn't look like much from the outside, but it is a very nice hotel. Great indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna. The rooms were spacious (except the bathroom). We stayed at the AmericInn in Kearney in July. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was friendly. Pool area is nice. Breakfast was above average. The motel is very convenient from the interstate and close to a few restaurants. I'd definitely stay here again. Only thing I missed was a refrigerator in the room. more

I was pleasantly surprised by the Kearney AmericInn. Don't get me wrong - it was no luxury hotel, but nice for its class. I had never heard of this chain nor did I know anything about them. However, the receptionist at the nearby Hampton referred them since they (Hampton) were booked full. The room was very clean and decent sized.... more
