The entire hotel was outdated. Only one employee spoke English. I forgot my phone charger so I went back to get it and they said there was no phone charger left in my room. But there was one left in the room next to me. How coincidental. I asked if I could go look in my room. The owner took... More

Everything was dirty. There was a rotten dirty rag left sitting on our microwave... that I am hoping was not used to clean anything we had to touch. Bare bulbs and nightmarish open vent in the bathroom. We did not shower, and didn't touch anything we didn't have to. Sheets were stained. The whole place smells of smoke. Our non-smoking... More

We booked this by booking.com. we arrived late and it turned out that all the bathroom doors were so narrow that my husband could not get in with wheelchair. We were going to find a newer place but two big activities has taken up all the hotels. So we worked out a deal where my husband could use the restroom... More

You basically get what you'd expect from a motel. It was clean, but the lighting was very dingy/dull and the fan was missing from the bathroom ceiling. The main problem was the very sad breakfast, which consisted of watery coffee, two types of cereal, toast, and waffles. There was no juice or fruit. The wi-fi did work and the desk... More

My husband and two sons stayed here for the Huskerland wrestling tournament in March 2014. The *only* reason I booked this place was the price: Expedia quoted it as $55 a night. I booked it for 3 people, one night. They ended up bringing along one friend, for a total of 4 people. When they checked in, the manager said... More

I've stayed at the Western before in the past and it was fine for the money. This last time was BAD. They charged the dog fee of $15. whether or not the animal came to the room. The room was dirty. Mold in the shower corners, dust bunnies hanging off the acoustic ceiling, the coffee pot was dirty inside where... More

I was content with our short, one-night stay and the breakfast was comparable good for the reasonable price. We stay at hotels such as Super8, Rodeway Inn, and Econolodge. We checked in after midnight so I did not mention our dog since it was cool enough for him to remain in the car. At our 8 a.m. check-out, the manager... More

I am not sure why this has gotten bad reviews...I have been a guest off and on for several years ans have never had a bad experience!! It isn't a luxury hotel, but it has a very nice pool and hottub and is very clean!! I have always been impressed with the cleanliness!!
