Better than home, actually. Beautiful old building, lovingly restored and furnished to suit. Cosy, comfortable and welcoming. The bed in the Yellow room has a superb mattress. Proper bath. Roaring fire in the sitting room. Tea & cake on arrival. Winner, Wenhaston walnut cake competition 2015. A super quality breakfast that quite dislocated our plans for the day as we... More

A stunning bed and breakfast on a beautiful farm in a great location! Owners Annie and Bob gave us a warm welcome right from the very beginning. They have plenty of local knowledge and lots of books on the area which proved incredibly helpful to get to know the delights of Suffolk. Our son was also very excited about all... More

Just stayed for three days in the Blue Room. Beautiful linen, huge fluffy towels and a log fire to relax in front of in the evenings. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and nothing was too much trouble for the owners. It's worth making a booking at The Star pub (5 minutes walk).

We returned to Hall Farm after five year absence and pondered why we had not been Iin between . It has an idyllic location in the middle of a charming country garden, with sheep and chickens your first sight from the guest bedrooms. Annie & Bob made us feel so welcome in their delightful home, nothing is too much trouble... More

We would totally agree with the earlier reviews on Hall Farm in praise of Annie & Bob's charming farmhouse and welcome to match (particularly for someone who turns up on crutches!) Everything was as you would want it to be - clean, decorated throughout to a high standard, comfortable room, guests lounge, great breakfast spread and freshly baked cakes.

We stayed 2 nights with Annie and Bob and assorted dogs, cats and sheep in their delightful farmhouse. Our room and adjoining shower room were beautifully decorated with good linens and fluffy towels..robes and hairdryer too. Comfy bed, radio and Smart TV, tea and coffee with yummy biscuits and water. Moulton Brown toiletries, pretty views from the windows over gardens,... More

A lovely old farmhouse in beautiful English country garden surroundings. Comfortable and quiet with all mod cons. Bob and Annie are wonderful hosts, their welcome goes beyond friendliness making their guests feel really at home. The afternoon cup of tea and rock cakes freshly baked on the Aga were scrumptious. Breakfast, full English of course, was superb again freshly prepared... More

One of the best B&Bs you could wish for. You're made to feel part of the family in Annie and Bob's home. A warm welcome, beautiful rooms, delicious local produce breakfast and we loved Pip the pup! Thank you for a spoiling stay, we hope to see you again soon.

I remember years ago booking a B&B in a Northern city. This was long before the Internet and Trip Advisor. It was zero star horrid. We had a small, narrow room with two single beds arranged head to toe, and when the bed covers were pulled back a couple of suspicious looking curly hairs revealed themselves on the nylon sheets.... Hall Farm is a beautiful 17th century building with two rooms available for guests. We had the pretty room with huge en-suite bathroom complete with free standing claw foot bath. The whole house is warm and welcoming and this reflects the delightful owners Annie and Bob. From the moment we arrived (later than we'd said) we were made to feel... More
