I was in the bridal party for a wedding held at this hotel yesterday, and it was wonderful from start to finish. From the moment we booked into the bridal suite the night before, the staff were welcoming and helpful, dealing with all of the brides queries, and in such a calm and caring manner. All throughout the day itself,... More

Nice rooms round a pretty courtyard, excellent restaurant, the heartiest of breakfasts !! Excellent value evening meals too, friendly helpful staff. Clean comfortable room, shower a bit on the small side !! (or perhaps i am on the large side!). Peaceful pretty setting.

Stayed here recently and was disappointed with the lack of parking. The staff at reception were quite rude, both at check-in and check-out, and didn't seem to care about us, the customer. The bedroom was poor as the bed was sagging in the middle of each section. I didn't mind that it was a "zip-up" bed as you expect a... More

We stayed in Room 8... Which on the surface was lovely. However, there was zero air circulation and the mattress bowed in the middle something rotten... It was like having my 16 stone ex sleeping next to me!! I had a grand total of two hours sleep that night. Also, there was only one towel in the bathroom for us,... More

Dear Guest I have no idea what you are talking about? The bed is a 6ft Four Poster and the comment received the same day as yours recommended the same room as Excellent. I put this down to your taste in bed comfort. A second set of towels is located in your wardrobe. Air circulation comes from opening the windows.... More

The staff were friendly, happy and helpful Even getting me hot chocolate fudge cake at 1.30am as i had a chocolate craving!!! This is a somewhat glorified motel which I tried really hard to enjoy but the odds were stacked against me. For one, the walls in the main building are paper thin, you will hear every single thing your neighbors do or say (and they, you) - in my case virtually sleeping in the same bed with a guest with severe... Dear Guest Thank you for your review. I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay, There is always a set thickness between rooms which is comparable to larger than a traditional house to alleviate noise travelling from room to room. Unfortunately we can not be responsible for additional noise from a guest with a cold or even a louder... More

Traveling around the Uk with my husband we arrived at the Judd Folly and checked in. We was taken to our room and we was very surprised how beautiful and spacious our room was! A little quirky but very nice! We had a walk around the hotels grounds and noticed the older part to the building (my father was a... More

We got to this hotel, by a friend's tip. Our fresh, light and spacious room was on the first room and featured a modern, clean bathroom. Breakfast, included, allowed a choice of full English, ham and cheese platter or smoked salmon omelette and a buffet with all you need (muesli, cereals, toast and coffee/tea). We had dinner the night before,... More

I had the standard room, it was a compact room but clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and the food good. It was a good value stay for bed and breakfast. The location is very pretty with great views from the bars decking area.

Lovely setting. Ideal if you have a dog with you, lots of greenery and very pet friendly. Able to park outside the room on ground floor- a real bonus for the late night walk. A good choice of food in the evening on site and pleasant breakfast. Clean and airy room. All round, would definitely recommend!
