We stayed here for one night before an early morning flight back home. The hotel was clean and pleasant, located in a tiny rural town outside Quito. We appreciated the kindness of Diana (sp?) at the desk who was very helpful when our daughter was quite sick on the evening we arrived. She helped us find a pharmacy, made sure... More

Booked this place after reading reviews and arranged for them to pick me up. We arrived and had a change in airline but same time and no one picked us up. We arranged for our own taxi but it took them awhile to locate the suites- The nice lady who met us at the gate spoke only Spanish but did... More

We had stayed in Quito for 2 night before a tour of the Galapagos, but did not want to have the long drive back after our trip. This was the perfect overnight and I could have stayed another night. The town is a rural farming community that is very friendly and has the typical appearance of a rural South American... More

We returned from the Galapagos at 3:00 and our flight out wasn't until midnight, so we used Quito Airport Suites as a day room. The driver was waiting in arrivals and it was a short drive to the hotel. Dom greeted us and showed us to our room which was clean and functional for our use. We were able to... More

We were met at the airport ($8) and it was a quick ride to the B&B. Many dark and twisting roads surrounded by high walls. Check in was quick and then up to our rooms for the night. Breakfast was eggs, toast and juice. Our ride was there on time ($5) and off to the airport. Never heard the planes... More

Was picked up as arranged by email for a 5 minute $8 taxi ride to the hotel. Much better than the 60 minutes plus ride into town. Room was plain but spotlessly clean. Headroom was low in the shower - only about 6 foot 1 and I am 6 foot 2. The area is rather rural I found a local... More

The new Quito airport Mariscal Sucre is a good distance from Quito. The area (Tababela) is under development, and at it's best it never will be Quito. People expecting big-city accommodations in a remote area of Ecuadór mislead themselves, and their disappointments arise from unreasonable expectations. That said, "excellent" implies "under the circumstances," which is to say, one ought to... More

We had a 7 hour layover at the Quito airport. We needed to rest up for an overnight flight. We found this hotel online and saw that they had very reasonable rates for a day-room, allowing us to have a place to shower and rest. The room was very simple, but clean. The staff couldn't be nicer. They even cooked... More

Pros: Very close to airport, quiet neighbourhood, kind owner, good food at decent price, hot showers, strong wifi in common area (signal doesn't carry to outside rooms). Cons: Difficult to find. $3 for breakfast, $5 for dinner cooked by the owner. There's nothing nearby but it's the perfect place if you're just staying one night for an airport connection. We... More

Rooms are spartan, but very clean and comfortable. There are no clocks, but Dom and his staff will wake you if you have an early flight out the next day...just ask them. Cable TV. I was met at the airport and driven to the 'Airport Suites'. There is a $8.00 charge for this service. It costs $5.00 by taxi. The... More
