I stayed at The Traditions Inn while in town for a business meeting. This is exactly what I had hoped for in a midwest B&B. A very traditional place with an antique/country-style feel. I stayed in the suite, which was very comfortable and roomy. The gas fireplace was a very nice touch, since it was cold and rainy that day. The wireless internet worked perfectly. I would have preferred a traditional shower, but the shower handle in the whirlpool tub worked fine. The innkeeper, Pat, was as nice as could be. The breakfast was wonderful! I definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting or passing through Columbus, NE. Next time I hope to visit when the restaurant is open. The menu looked fantastic. more
