Located a little ways off of Highway 20 on the outskirts of Chadron in a very peaceful prairie setting, this cozy little bed and breakfast is a real find. The owner promised over the phone that it would be "just like visiting grandma's house", and it was! Everything was just about perfect - the house was clean and neat, the beds were comfortable, and we had plenty of room. Breakfast was top-notch, too. It was fun chatting with the owner, a strong. energetic great-grandmother and lifelong Chadron native. We learned a little about the local western Nebraska culture, and experienced a brief hailstorm to boot! We'd definitely go back if we ever go through Chardon again.
