River Inn Resort really isn't a "resort." Neither is it a bed and breakfast although a filling breakfast is included with lodging. It is, rather, a floating boutique hotel with perhaps 20 rooms half of which front directly on the fast flowing Missouri river. The main entrance for each room is located on a central hallway although each room also... More

We booked this Inn for a family reunion. There were three couples and we were treated very well. It was just a pleasure to be able to sit outside our rooms and visit and watch the river go by. It was so nice. We booked during the week so we were the only people there the first night. The breakfasts... More

A great place for a weekend get-away! The River Inn Resort is an hour from Omaha and we were quite impressed with the rooms, the staff as well as the dinner cruise. The service and attention we received is what makes this resort well worth the trip. When we arrived, the front desk staff was waiting for us, had room... More

The River Inn is a barge floating on the river. Very nice rooms and the breakfast is fabulous! Randall and Jane are such great people. Take some wine, fruit, cheese and crackers and sit in the adirondack chairs and watch the river go by. So relaxing! They run a riverboat up and down the river sometimes and even have a... More

Now I have to admit, when I 1st arrived after a long flight, I was pretty traumatized trying to find the resort on the dark dirt road with no lights. But after I got in touch with the front desk, the owner was able to walk me thru the directions. It's a cute little place, the rooms are nice and... More

My husband and I stayed here this past weekend for my sister's wedding. They had rented out the boat for their wedding and as part of the deal we got to spend 2 nights. The rooms were very nicely remodeled, very clean, and the beds were really comfy. Both breakfasts were very delicious and filling! I would highly recommend this... More

Me and my friend just wanted to venture to a quiet town for some rest and relaxation before school starts, and wow, were we impressed. The town was so quaint, but being a weekday, there wasn't much open. Despite the fact, this B&B made our trip more than worth it. Our room was clean and cozy, and the bathroom was... More

Fun place. Boat that has been refurbished into a B&B. Rooms have been nicely remodeled. Beds are very comfy. Very fun sleeping right on the water, waking up to see a great sunrise. Quirky but well worth the extra drive to stop here. Would definitely stay here again

We wanted to stay someplace where we could just relax, so we booked this B&B for a Thursday night, hoping we would be by ourselves...and we were. The owners of this boat are such nice people. They have helped keep Brownville alive by running this B&B along with the dinner cruise ship. The rooms are very clean and modern. We... More

We enjoyed this floating B&B very much. Highly recommend it. We were in Brownville for a theatre performance and stayed the night. The people were very nice and the town is very quaint. The fitness area is very small, but there is a nearby trail that you can take through town and leads you to a winery!
