We like to get off the beaten path once in a while. The stray off I-80 as we traveled through Nebraska was well worth the extra mileage. HWY 2 is listed as a scenic drive and that it is. Broken Bow is a quaint town worth a stopover. After much searching, I found this B&B. Cindy is a wonderful host and her dog Scooter was a lot of fun. Cindy has done much work on this old home to make it inviting and comfortable. She has more remodeling in the plans to make even more room for guests. Our room came with a shared bath but we were the only guests that night so had the whole place to ourselves. A short and welcome walk in to town found us at a recommended eatery for dinner. We were enthused by the affordable prices not only for the food, but also the drinks! There are interesting old buildings, shops, and parks to be enjoyed in this small locale.
