The Meadowlark was a nice place to stay while visiting family in the area. The room was spacious, and clean. It was fairly quiet, with only an occasional train rumbling by. The restaurant had very good food. Would definitely stay here again.

This was the best stay by far on the road trip! A "mom and pop" type of motel with a free, very basic continental breakfast served in the restaurant (you could order and pay from their menu though). Huge rooms that were clean. Loved the grounds (no pool), nice and quiet at the back of the property. I would definitely... More

I stay here every time I come up to visit my parents' graves and connect with extended family. The front desk has always been friendly and most of them knowledgeable. Sometimes you get a young person at the desk that isn't the fountain of knowledge, but hopefully it is a good learning experience for them. This last stay, I requested... More

A large group of us stayed here after booking in at the last minute. We arrived late after the reception closed but the room keys were there waiting for us. My room was in the block at the back and the room was large, clean and comfortable. The motel is also in a nice setting next to a lake. Breakfast... More

We traveled to Bridgeport on business. We reserved 2 rooms utilizing our corporate card. When we arrived the front dask clerk told us she couldn't give us 2 rooms on our 1 card. We told her that we do it all the time at other hotels. She yelled at us for giving her attitude and called her boss on the... More

We have family in the area and always stay at the Meadowlark. Nothing fancy, but it is clean and a great price. The large restaurant on the property has a large selection on its menu, a full bar and very reasonable prices. There also is a mini-mart and a gas station on the property. All the staff are friendly and... More

We were travelling for a wedding and I am glad that this is the place we decided to stay. The rooms are spacious and clean, they have a microwave and small fridge, flat screen TVs and Wi-Fi (I did not use the Wi-Fi so cannot attest to the signal strength). The motel is an older building separate from the motel... More

I found myself stuck without a place to stay after finding all the hotels in Ogallala were booked full. It was after 10 pm and I was tired, but had no choice but to keep traveling. My husband called this motel and caught the owner just as she was leaving the office for the evening. She was more than willing... More

We didn't stay here since we have an RV for that, but we did have an excellent meal in the restaurant. The All-You-Can-Eat Pasta Buffet includes shrimp, scallops, tilapia, chicken, and clams. You select your meats and then the types of veggies you want and they saute it all together and add your pasta and sauce selection! It was delicious!... More

This property, located just off Route 385, is an aged facility with absolutely no inviting appeal. There are several sprawling, one-story structures, one of which houses a very small convenience store/gas station attached to a full-service restaurant. The rooms, while spacious, had stained carpeting and scarred molding. The room, however, was clean; and a hair dryer, micro and frig, wifi,... More
