Beautiful setting, nice looking cabins. But, for the price we should have silverwear, cooking pans, a working coffee pot, enough TP., a nice BBQ grill that is clean and works, some DVD 's for the player, and enough linen. The grounds were hit hard by some flooding but that we understand. Could be a top place with a little TLC.

I would not recommend this resort- very dirty cabin and no upkeep. No silverware at all, only one small pot, no fry pan, BBQ wasn't cleaned and still had food on the grates, old soap in the shower, 3 bath towels for 4 adults, coffee maker had moldy grounds in it and it took 30 minutes to brew one cup,... The resort grounds are lovely and I appreciate the efforts of those providing services that add value to the area and bring in much needed tourism. That being said, Haymoon was built in an established residential area. Over this last summer, there have been events 3- 4 times per week. This week the music went on Saturday night until 3:30... We stayed at the Haymoon Resort for our family reunion in 2011 and was very pleased so we went back for July 2013. Not sure if they got new property management, but what a change in two years! Making contact with them was stressful and a hassle with calls/emails going unreturned after several attempts. Necessities like toilet paper, dish soap... More

We stayed at NorthStar Lodge and it was excellent! It had all the amenities I could ask for, without sacrificing any of the rustic charm. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The hottub was great! There were plenty of place to relax with our group, or on our own. The WIFI worked great too. I... More

My sister rented out the entire Haymoon Ranch for all of our family & friends for her wedding which was amazing. It was like staying in your own mountain ranch paradise. The cabins were huge and could accomodate alot of people. There is no room service at the ranch but each cabin has one or more kitchens. The cabins stay... More

My wife and I were very excited to stay here. The website made it seem like it was going to be a very nice stay. There was no staff available upon check-in. We had to find our cabin ourselves and learned from another guest the the cabin would be unlocked with the keys inside. The pond was in disrepair and... More

It is unfortunate to have a customer unhappy with their stay at our lovely resort. I manage the resort and our welcoming procedure is to send a confirmation letter to the guest prior to their arrival with driving directions and that the cabin was open and ready for them. We also put a welcome letter on the front office door... More

We stayed in the Harvest Moon Cabin as part of some friends' wedding. There were 6 of us in the cabin for three nights, then four of us for two nights. It was a really great option for the group. The beds in the loft and bedroom were very comfortable, although the queen size futon in the living room, while... More

Had a great stay at Haymoon resort. We booked the Northstar Lodge and Cresent Moon Cabin for our group of 20. Both were clean, had well equipped kitchens and the private hot tub at the Northstar was a nice bonus. The resort is a bit out of town (5 minutes drive) but the trade off is that the grounds are... We stayed at the Haymoon resort in mid August. It is about a 20 minute drive from the west entrance to Glacier National Park. The grounds of the resort were nice, with a small pond in front of our cabin that had a paddle boat and canoe to play around with. There were also some horses and llamas on the... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Haymoon Resort is a collection of four rental homes and two guest quarters all on 16 acres of Montana evergreens and beautiful grounds. These homes and quarters are rented individually or together for large gatherings. We have created a unique lodging experience that can’t be duplicated at hotels or motels. This is NOT a plastic, neon, commercialized environment, but a private, beautiful setting, with an estate atmosphere at the Resort. At Haymoon, you’ll feel comfortable and relaxed while experiencing our beautiful, stress free environment, and yet we are still only five minutes from downtown Whitefish and centrally located to all our area attractions. We also have a large and unique downtown lodging option call The Downtown Flat. It has 3 bedrooms and can sleep up to 10 people. ... more   less
