What a huge disappointment! After searching for several weeks for a place to stay on our first trip to Montana and Glacier, we decided on Gaynor Ranch and Resort. It's not a resort at all in the way the website pictures depict it to be. Perhaps if you are there with a group they may pay some attention to you,... More

First of all, this place is not cheap and I was very disappointed. The whole place looked good until we started exploring the ranch. The camp fire area is full of doggy gifts. The rope jumping lake looked stale with one unstable tree. The worst was a badly drained bathtub. I called the manager to take care of it, he... More

I booked this trip to stay at CABINS IN THE WOODS rather last minute and really should have paid better attention to the reviews. Things you really need to know before staying here: 1. CABINS 3/4 ARE A DUPLEX AND NOT THEIR OWN CABIN This would be ok if traveling with a larger group and could rent both cabins and... More

First I want to say I apologize, but just HAVE to write about our experience. We stayed here about a week ago now, we were a family gathered together, to spread the ashes of a lost loved one, in her most favorite place in the world and where she grew up, Montana. We stayed in 2 of the main cabins.... More

First of all we did have bees on the trail for a few days. We cannot control that. They are gone now and the rides are much more peaceful. And yes, our wrangler got bit and was very uncomfortable. As for the lady who kept screaming WO, it is not acceptable and causes the horses to be unsettled. I highly... More

Stayed here this past week it's in a beautiful area and the cabins are perfect for a family. We missed out on something's because it rained most of the time but the location is perfect for glacier, whitefish and kalispel. You can cook in or have a nice dinner in town easily. We had a great time ! Owners are... More

We stayed here for a long weekend and wanted to stay longer! What a fantastic place. Everything you could need with a full kitchen. The loft with two single beds would have been so much fun for the kids. The two bedrooms were great and the bed was so comfy! Will definitely return! The BBQ on the deck was almost... More

We stayed at the cabins in the woods! It felt very secluded and very quiet. The management was extremely friendly as well. For the price of the cabin it was well worth the stay. We liked it so much that we stayed an extra night. The cabin was well kept up and very clean. It was nice to have a... More

My wife and I along with our 6 and 10 year old sons just left today after 5 days 4 nights at Gaynor's. Out cabin was at the ranch. There are choices with the locations. Out in the woodds or at the ranch. We liked the ranch because of the activities. It was nothing short of spectacular. The views were... More

First of all it's rare to stay at a place that has your first name as it's name, which is why we stayed here in the first place. Secondly they had roughly 24 horses, a donkey and six dogs, which is pretty much heaven for us. Thirdly the owner Don, was a gracious and welcoming host. Fourth, the cabin was... More

We stayed here in December using a groupon, so very good value for our buck. We rented a "cabin in the woods". So beautiful in the winter time with the lights and snow. You do need 4x4 in the winter, but it wasn't nearly as bad as some of the reviews made the road seem. Cabins are beautifully appointed. Some... More
