NOT Clean & Broken! Down! Beer and juice bottles and caps under the beds, matteresses rock hard, toilet not anchored down, hair dryer taped with electrical tape. Room smelled mold/musty and dead bolt not working. Dirty carpeting on all staircases.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! We had business in Whitefish and this was the only available place to stay....now I know why!!!!! Room on 3rd floor, lots and lots of stairs to climb. Deadbolt broken on inside, rugs and mats dirty, stinky filthy rag in kitchen sink, a door to 'no where' that said "Emergency Exit"....never did figure out where it... More

This hotel is a good location if you want to be able to walk downtown to eat and drink. However, there are much nicer places not far, so you can walk a little further to have a nicer place to stay. It was way over priced at $138. I had not stay there before, and I don't think that I... More

I booked a reservation to have a place to stay in the downtown area. Upon booking I was never told of the 3 day cancellation policy. So I called over 24 hours in advance to cancel since the girls who were going could not afford it. At the time of cancel I was told I would not be charged if... More

It's right near the center of cute & historic Whitefish, MT. Everything's walking distance. The staff is super friendly and professional. I watched one clerk keep her cool as she was cruelly berated by a drunk guest who had a mixup with his room. Though when we asked for a rollaway bed we were charged for one but never got... More

Reading some of the recent reviews here, we can’t believe it’s the same place that we stayed at! Seems worlds apart from what we experienced. In general, I think disappointments can be avoided by doing proper research before visiting and staying in any place. For those who mentioned the busy roads and being 2-star, well a simple google search would... More

BEWARE: They do not send written confirmation of bookings or cancellations. Nor will they accommodate changes in a reservation. We ended up cancelling reservation 3 days before arrival and they immediatly charged our credit card before we even hung up the phone. Their non-existant cancellation policy is not communicated and no where to be found. Friends that still stayed at... More

The downtowner is in a perfect location. It is a 10-15 minute drive to Whitefish Mountain and a 2 minute walk to all the bars and restaurants in downtown Whitefish. The rooms are very basic - no fridge (unless you ask for them to bring one to your room with 24 hours notice), no coffee maker, and no microwave. However... More

A lot of friends and I took a 2 day ski trip to Whitefish, we had the dorm room and two regular rooms, they where all clean, comfortable and a great price. Great hot tub, convenient location to everything in town, staff friendly and helpful, and only a short drive up the mountain. I would definitely stay here again.
