We were there between seasons, end of May 2014. Even though the road through the middle of the park was still closed by snow, we had a great time exploring the west side of Glacier National Park by car and hiking. The helicopter tour is fantastic. We also enjoyed Whitefish a lot. Check out their Tuesday evening Farmers' Market and... More

This was our first trip to Whitefish & our first experience with ski in/ ski out accommodations & we loved it! We were a short walk to the chairlifts & our condo was lovely. We had a nice deck with a view of the mountains & of the lights of Whitefish at night. We used the fireplace every night &... More

Summer at Edelweiss /Big Mountain is great. This is not a luxury accommodation but it has all that one needs. Easy to take the lift up to the top of the mountain for a great hike back down. Lots of mt bikers enjoy this place but there is lots to do without a bike: hiking, meals and ice cream in... More

4 of us were in room 205 for 5 nights and it was the most perfect location in the building and the jacuzzi was directly below our unit. We walked only a few steps to the chair one and two. The unit had everything we needed but could use more lighting in the bedrooms. The plumbing was running slow in... More

Our party stayed for a week at Edelweiss in two units (both 1 BR) obtained through an RCI exchange. We travel out west to ski each winter and the destination is the first priority, accommodations second. This was our second trip to Whitefish and first stay on the mountain. First the pros: Location, it just doesn't,t get much better than... More

Had a two bedroom and one bedroom condo both we're spacious, clean and had amazing views. Location couldn't be better you are literally steps from the chairlift. With a wood fire blazing, and snow falling its a cozy comfy way to recover after a day on the hill. It's also a quick 10 min drive from white fish if you... More

This condo is nearst to the lift base so put your ski boots on in comfort and GO! The skiing itself is excellent. The condo was cheaply built and so the interiors are tired but serviceable. The heating system is electric baseboards which are dirty so the dust gets warm and stinks. The resulting heat is very dry so keeping... More

Great condominium if you are looking for the perfect residence while skiing Whitefish Resort. Nothing better than being able to put on your ski boots and head out in the morning. The view from our condo (and it was on the ground floor) overlooking the valley, was beyond incredible. There are several restaurants on the hill, a little market, tourist... More

This was our second trip to Edelweiss, our first being 15 years ago. And it was even better the second time around. Our 1 bedroom unit, (unit 209, a timeshare exchange), was comfortable, clean and came with a magnificent view. The full kitchen was well stocked so cooking was easily done. There are so many things to do at Big... More

We stayed in a unit that was owned by an individual and exchanged through a timeshare company. This unit was very clean and had an extensive array of cooking supplies and equipment. Since we were about five miles from town down a steep and winding road, we ate most of our meals in the unit. This owner also had a... More
