This is not a place people come to, they come for Yellowstone. So, the whole area is really just mediocre - and packed with people. This hotel was fine, but not stellar. The lobby is tired, the check-in was less than exciting. The room was large, but right on the street. The parking is lacking. We had to park across... More

Way over priced. Rude front desk guy. Recently my wife and I spent 3 nights at the Stage Coach Inn. We arrived at 1:30 and were told that check in time was 3:00 and our room would not be ready until then. We came back at 3:00 and our room was still not available, had to wait another 30 minutes... Manager at front desk is kind of rude and short with people. Seems like he's not a fan of his job. The breakfast was average, at best. Powdered eggs, yogurt and I believe a waffle maker. Place is really dated. Needs updating. Lots of taxidermy art in the lobby. The hotel is hotel friendly. Basically you're paying for the location.... More

Ok, first let me say this is West Yellowstone...in season...so expect to pay twice what things are worth. And, in fairness, any hotel staff is dealing with many foreign-language tourists. But you'll be able to tell when you make your reservation that the front desk staff is, well, unique. They're apt to go on about their personal taste without a... More

For what it is, this hotel is really overpriced. You're expecting luxury accomodations and you're getting outdated and old hotel. Drop the price by half and it would get a better review. The best thing about this hotel is the lobby. It has a rustic appearance that one would expect for the area. We chose it because other hotels in... More

Hotel all nice clean and spacious. Great location right in centre of town. Rating of 3 Star because of our room location. On ground floor right next to reception. we asked for a change of room but were informed that was not possible. Which surprised us as there were still vacancies. And we had a few rubbish nights with noise... More

This big hotel has a strong western feel with a good sized lobby with lots of stuffed animals - as in the previously alive kind. If you don't mind taxidermy then they are neat to see up close. They also provide free coffee and have board games available 24/7. There's a continental breakfast, plus a make your own waffle option.... More

The Stage Coach Inn has a great atmosphere. With its cozy lobby and lodge type decor, it completes the experience for a tourist heading into Yellowstone. There are a couple of reasons that I am not giving the hotel a 4 or 5 star rating. For one, the bathroom in our room did not have an operable fan. As you... More

PROS: Location is great (although the town is so small that *any* location within it would probably be great :) ). The inn itself is fantastic - very rustic, lots of wood, animal heads on walls. Great vibe. CONS: Rooms are very small (the one we had is, quoting the receptionist, a "bigger room", yet it barely had any space... More

Nothing to complain about here. This is an historical hotel very close to downtown West Yellowstone and the park entrance. The interior is rustic log cabin style. It has a great lobby with a grand staircase and several mounted examples of the local wildlife. The lobby is large with comfortable seating and 24/7 coffee. The room was adequate size and... More
