We are a group of 9 currently staying here for 6 nights during a photography holiday in Yellowstone Park. Hotel excellent in every way, rooms more than adequate, clean and toiletry necessities well-stocked (good after a long day's photography when a shower is a necessity!) Staff are friendly and very helpful - comp breakfast has frequently been to hand before... More

we were on a 7 day vacation trip . we spent 2 nights at this location. the staff was very friendly and helpful. the location to the park was very good only two blocks away from the west entrance. this property has a elevator if you have problems with stairs. we had a corner room with a great view both... It served the purpose to have a decent stay, though it was not super optimal to get into Yellowstone and required always a 20min ride to get in to the park and 1h for the Canyon at the east side. But all hotels inside the park were booked, so that seemed the closest of all alternatives. Hotel is really ok,... More

We stayed at the lodge as a base for our visit to the perk. It was above average. The room was large and clean. The Wi-Fi was inconsistent. But the hotel was convenient to the local attractions. The breakfast buffet was average. The only complaint is a noisy vent fan in the bathroom.

Visited West Yellowstone from England and was delighted by our choice of hotel. Small, friendly and conveniently positioned for viewing the town. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, clean and well maintained. Basic breakfast but sufficient. Lovely pool and hot tub. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I would certainly return if we visited the area again. West... More

The confusion started about fifteen days, prior to our arrival. We were originally booked for two nights. I called the hotel to request an extension of our stay, by one day. A desk clerk confirmed our extension. About thirty minutes after I hung up, the clerk called me back to say she had made a mistake and could not extend... More

Stayed here for one night while on a trip to Yellowstone. The room was OK - nothing special. The breakfast was terrible. Nothing hot - just cold cereal, cold muffins, and bread. I expected to at least get a hot breakfast considering the price ! Don't let Xantera send you to this hotel. Plenty of other options available.

Another hotel included in a tour we were taking. Happy we were only here for one night. The TV remote did not work. They did bring us another one upon request. Thin towels, old beds. Breakfast was just-out-of freezer breads for toast. No decaf coffee available. Had to make special request for half and half creamer. Would not stay here... More

We only chose this motel as we couldn't get reservations anywhere else. I thought it was an ok place. The only good thing about it was the bed was comfortable. The shower was horrible and outdated. The walls are paper thin - I heard the guy next door cough during the night. The TV was very small. I would not... More

My wife and I, our children and grandchildren have been staying at the Yellowstone Lodge in West Yellowstone for approximately the last 10+ years. We got tired of the high costs, poor accommodations, lack of amenities, etc. with Xantera in the YNP; and found Yellowstone Lodge to be the kind of place for families like ours, and regular tourists as...
