This place doesn't resemble the photos we viewed online when we booked it--I'd say they were taken 40 years ago--and that's probably the last time the cabins were cleaned. Every time we went to the office, the door was locked & no one answered the doorbell--finally, we pounded on the door & the manager, "Mr. Sunshine" opened the door. The... More

We (my girl and me) have been here for 3 nights. We felt very welcome and comfortable during our stay. We came here to visit yellowstone NP and were afraid to be to far away from it. But actually it didnt take more than 5 min to be in!! The room was clean, well equiped, very authentic and charming plus... More

If quaint and rustic is what you want, at "Creepy Hollow" you will also put up with a dirty, poorly maintained, and poorly serviced, cramped room. In our cabin, both the exterior and 2 interior doors stuck so badly they needed to be slammed shut and then have a shoulder put to them to get them open. The ceiling fan... More

I booked this place on line. It is not as nice as it looks and the child play area is unsafe and in need of repair/upkeep. I was cut on the hand by a nail sticking up when I had to rescue my kid from it. It seems to be a small mom and pop place and the owners are... More

Was not exactly what we had expected, but still worked well for us and married kid and hubby. Large beams and 40's - 50's styling dominated our small but clean cabin. Furnishings were sparse, but adequate, and beds were very comfy. Our main bedroom w/kitchen-dining area did have a door between us and kids room, but what had been a... More

Stayed here this past June, and thoroughly enjoyed myself, as did my wife and kids. Rooms were quiet, comfortable and clean. Friendly staff, and free breakfast. Can't beat the location. All in all, great find.

The room smelled awful. Someone must have smoked in it but not recently because the smell just stayed in the carpet, curtains, and bedding from decades ago. I couldn't even see myself sleeping here let alone showering or taking my shoes off. The linoleum is rolling up in the bathroom. The carpet is the same my parents had in 1970.... More

We booked a room for 4 adults, when we arrived we received a filthy cabin for two people. Beside receiving the wrong cabin our cabin was smelly, moldy, and did not have working lights. When we approached the front desk to fix the problem, they told us that we had in fact not booked the cabin we knew we had... More

There was an overpowering air freshener smell that we could not get rid of even with the windows open all night. It made us wonder what the air freshener was trying to cover up. Overall I felt it was way overpriced for what it was; certainly dated and tacky feeling; light bulbs needed replacing; cover off of the smoke detector;... More

Thank you for staying with us. We apologize for any inconvenience. The air freshener is the cabin is simply for that purpose - to freshen the air. Thank you for your opinion, as we are currently replacing the curtains for the thicker and darker ones. Our rates are among the lowest and most competitive in the area. We hope you... More

I was expecting rustic, but not dirty, worn out and old. I wouldn't have minded that either except for the price- the kitchen wasn't really stocked, the carpet was filthy, linoleum in the bathroom looked like it was original. There was mold growing in the shower and on the baseboards in the bathroom. On the description there was a continental... More

Thank you for staying with us. We apologize for any inconvenience. Our kitchens have refrigerator, range/oven, coffee maker and toaster, and they are stocked with pots and pans, plates, bowls, cups, glasses, forks, knives, spoons, spatulas, can/bottle openers, cutting boards, paper towels, dish soap and sponges. We are also putting microwaves in every cabin now. We are sorry, that did... More
