No telephone, no TV, no soap (had to ask for it), pine walls and an amazing bedspread, handmade of bears and fisherman and all things outdoors. Comfortable and peacefl. Wish we could have stayed longer.

My wife and I stayed here June 2014 and enjoyed the hotel. It kinda puts a smile on my face a year later as I'm writing this. The owners check us in then walked us to our room and gave us a "tour" of it. We needed dinner and asked what was good and they recommended a good little pizza... More

We stayed in this motel for 2 nights back in 2014. The place is old, but relatively well maintained and absolutely clean. Upon check in the host did a nice job making us feel welcome. He offered unlimited complimentary snacks, toothpaste, deo, coffee etc in the lobby. (Shampoo, Soap, Conditioner etc. is provided in the room) West Yellowstone is a... More

We stayed at the Alpine lodge for three nights in June 2014. It is a lovely, quirky place. The owners Patty and Brian cannot do enough for you. There is Coffee, Tea and other drinks available in the lobby. Selection of cereal bars etc are also freely available. The room is basic, but very clean and comfortable. We stayed as... More

This review is to help people not to waste their time with the web booking and to note the restrictive booking practices. If you are looking for a single night stay, call first and if you can't get through or are hindered by the timezone difference as was my case, I suggest you try elsewhere. Its been over 4 weeks... We booked this property because of the excellent ratings on trip adviser, however we were very disappointed with what we received. The room was very small and the floor slanted to the point that the bathroom door closed by itself and did not stay open. There were two window's, one looked out to a large parking lot with store backs... More

We went based on reading a lot of reviews. And of course the pictures and the area it is located. The room was great. And the staff were the most friendly I have ever encountered. And if you forgot to bring something something simple like a toothbrush or deodorant they probably have some for you.

Stayed 3 nights while visiting Yellowstone. Our room was clean and comfy, perfect for our needs. The owners were very accommodating and helped us choose some wonderful eateries! Within walking distance to numerous restaurants, shops and groceries.

It is a typical old style downtown motel. A room with vanity in it, small bathroom, minimum sound proofing and tight parking. The rooms are extremely clean though with very nice appointments and the owners are the most friendly you will meet in your travels. They go out of their way to assist you with any questions or concerns you... More

The owners were welcoming, friendly, and offered great advice about the area. We let them know we would be arriving late and they waited up for us and were so pleasant in showing us to our room. Excellent location for those who want to explore Yellowstone. Room was very clean. I would definitely stay here again.
