This location was right on Hebgen Lake. The sunrises were gorgeous, most of the people there are quiet (I say most, but there's always going to be the occasional noisy person), and the staff seemed mostly nice. There was one woman that worked there that seemed to be in a fairly rotten mood most of our trip, but beyond that,... More

If you are looking for a scenic campground away from all the main roads, this is the place for you! The access roads are rather interesting and should be traveled at a minimum, but once you reach the campground, you'll be glad you made it. The area is very peaceful and the camp spots are nice and spacious. The lake... More

I rented a cabin here for 3 days for me and my daughter to stay in. We received the infamous Cabin #1. This Cabin has no AC in it, but if you leave the windows open it cools off quickly. The ladder into the loft is very steep and my daughter had some trouble at first but figured it out... More

Me and my husband camped here for two nights during a two week road trip. We were only going to stay for one but decided to stay a second because it was so beautiful and peaceful. We were tenting in and were pleasantly surprised when we were able to get a tent site that was lakeside. The view was gorgeous... More

We ended up here because all other campsites were full, and we really lucked out! I will definitely be back, even if there are campsites in Yellowstone available. I was with three other women, and we weren't worried at all about not having men with us, the staff took such good care of us. Thank you to Shigeko, Dood, and... More

We stayed in the cabin for three nights. Let's get to the con first. The resort is not in the town. It takes about 15 minutes drive from West Yellowstone. And their cabin is a little out of date. However, comparing to the pro, I don't think it's a big deal though. The view of the lake and forest is... More

My husband and I just returned from a quick trip (2 nights) in West Yellowstone. We only live two hours away. We decided to go at the last minute so did very little research and just hoped for the best. It is true that the road to the resort is a bit rough but the drive is well worth it.... More

I stayed here in early July and loved the place! It's away from the busy parking lot style campgrounds that seem to be abundant around the Yellowstone area. The resort including the washrooms was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. Most importantly the campground is located right on a beautiful beach in the thick pines and the fishing... Well, as I said in my title, whether you stay here or not depends on what your agenda is. I stayed here 4 nights in a cabin with 2 family members and it was not our cup of tea. We spent most of our day in Yellowstone. Here are a few things you should know: 1.Our cabin did not have... More

First to get to the campground you drive down a washboard dirt road for six miles through burnt out forest, which was not a great first impression. We made a last minute reservation with the campground. $42 for 4 people in a tent, (no electric or water) a night. Plus a launch and moorage fee for our boat which we... More
