We had reserved two rv spots, and they called one of them a pull through. It was literally in the middle of the park road completely blocking the road and putting our door in a gravel road. The owner isn't very friendly and it's mismanaged, all they seem to care about is money. Everything is geared towards getting more money out... More

Like many other reviewers here, I ended up at this place because YNP was completely full. I arrived around 6 pm and was given a tent spot right on the lake. Each tent spot has its own fire pit and a picnic table. It was warm enough to swim and people were floating on the lake. I watched the sunset... More

Very crowded, tents are extremely close. Bathrooms are easily overwhelmed. Location is great and the lake is beautiful, but the place is poorly run. Its clear that the owner places more value on money then he does providing a quality experience. We were crammed into a very small space and then found ourselves even further crowded when a group of... More

We tent camped here for 5 nights while exploring nearby Yellowstone. The resort was established in 1947 which I suppose accounts for the very small lots. The tent sites are beautifully situated right on the lake, but only a few feet away start the RV sites. In the park office you can charge your cell phone, buy basic canned or... More

This place was dilapidated. It was sad. First, the road to the resort was terrible. Next, we arrived and were feeling duped by the presentation of their website. We were expecting a professionally maintained facility. What we found was disappointing. The water was brown and I wouldn't advise drinking it. The boats and water toys are tore up. The staff,... This place is tucked away by a dreamy clear lake just 6 miles outside the West entrance of Yellowstone NP. By far the prettiest spot with full hook ups compared to caning in the park. It's not a Walmart parking lot so you may have to back into your spot. A cute little store and the whole family serves you.... More

My main beef with this place is the inadequate bathroom. There are 99 campsites, and there is one restroom building, with two toilets for men, and two toilets for women. There was not a time when I didn't wait in a line to use it. If I read it correctly, this puts the campground in violation of Montana Public Health... More

We stayed here in July in a motorhome. Maybe some people had a bad experience, maybe we were lucky because we were right up front, across from showers and bath, but we had great internet, plenty of space, easy to get into spot, and our satellite worked even though we had trees around us. The dirt road in is awful,... More

Beggers can't be choosers; and I chose to stay here as opposed to in Yellowstone Nat'l Park without hook-ups and limitations to when I could run my generator. it has full hook-ups, but Madison Arm is a campground, not a resort, so don't stay here expecting one. The sites are small and the campground itself is split by the main... More

We rented a cottage for three nights in July 2015 for our family. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this campground/RV/Cottage property. We rented kayaks for our boys and the whole family went out on the rental paddle boats. The cottage was perfect. It was very clean, came with linens and bath towels, which was great because we...
