As this is a busier tourist town where rooms can be challenging to come by, we were grateful to find this space late on a rainy night, and returned the following night. The room prices were set without discounts but front desk was friendly, willing to show us rooms, and monitored the grounds carefully. We stayed one night in the... More

We came as a big group. That was a lot of work for Garrett and his stuff to swallow. They gave us everything plus helped us us their grill to feed the 60 people we had for two nights. When we fears the rain might come, Garrett got out his tarp. My wife left her books behind, Garrett sent them... More

A group of us stayed for 5 days in early August. It is not fancy hotel; but very economic. What impressed me the most is how friendly and accommodating the owner is. We have a big group taking more than 15 rooms in this hotel/motel. Garret let us use the picnic area and provided us the pots and pans for... More

My wife and I spent three nights here while exploring Yellowstone. Our room had a private bath, reserved parking space, and a rustic interior with a fridge. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Cons: Maids did not make the bed and our towels seems to reduce in quantity daily. Would be nice if they had some breakfast muffins or other... More

We stayed here early July 2014 in the "new" area behind the main structure. By new, apparently early mid century cinderblock bungalow, consitutes new. Keep in mind it appeared to have the dirt and grime accumulated for all those many years. The level of old filth was surprising given the cost for a night's lodging. A cute walkable town, but... This is a "must stop and stay" destination if you're in West Yellowstone! I've stayed almost yearly for the past ten years with my either my husband or with friends. If you're not the "hostel" type then booked a room in the motel; do give the hostel a try! This historic hostel and motel is a family owned and operated... More

Clean room, small but adequate. We stayed in the newer part of the motel and the room had been remodeled. Even tho our room was facing the street, we did not hear any noise during the night. Owners of the motel are very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful gift shop in the hotel.

Stayed in the newer motel part, not the main hotel. Room was not clean--carpet was stiff with dirt and there were used Kleenex under one of the beds from a previous tenant. Mattresses were horribly uncomfortable with huge valleys. The shower and bathroom faucet ran at a bare trickle at full blast and the shower stall had mildew in the... More

Nice motel. Clean, comfortable and a good price for the area, especially if you are just there to sleep. I stayed in room 11. Good WiFi. Friendly staff. Walls are thin so I could hear my neighbors snoring at night and discussing their hairstyle plans in the morning. I would stay here again if traveling through the area. It's a... More
