I have never seen so many Best Western chains within one city block. There is only one town park in West Yellowstone, White Buffalo occupied one corner, on each of the other three corners has its own Best Western brands. It is fascinating to watch such a setting. West Yellowstone is located at the west entrance of the Yellowstone Park.... More

I and my family visited this hotel for one night during our Yellowstone national park trip in may 2014. We found this hotel like motel in our first impression. The hotel is very basic and average... We got room at 2nd floor of this 2 story hotel. We found that there is no elevator... And our room was in furthest... More

Frequenting Yellowstone three or four times a year, we have stayed at this same property several times. The location is perfect for our visits to Yellowstone and the surrounding area. This time, our stay was met with upgrades/refurbishing of rooms and ammenities. The hotel staff was friendly, accommodating and met our every expectation. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable and... More

Located downtown and across the street from a park, the rooms are basic, but they're spacious, comfortable, and include a mini-fridge. Free kids movie nights are offered weekly with free popcorn, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The nicest perks are the small pool and jacuzzi located in the quiet, sunny courtyard; one of just a few hotels in... More

I was with a tour group that stayed here one nite. I am a single female that travels with tours because I am hestant to travel alone. My room was out by the pool which wasn't a problem, but my door did not have the extra security bar on the door and the trim around the door was split as... More

We thank all guests for their stay. By way of clarification, the locks on the door are a double electronic lock. The first line defense is the electronic component which requires the electronic key card. The second level is the dead bold that is included in the locks. Regarding the door trim; thank you for this note. I am not... More

This is the worst place I have ever stayed. No heat, no air conditioning, no telephone, no hot water, The walls are paper thin, and there is no security lock on the door. Paid $200 for a bed and a toilet. I could have saved myself a bundle and slept in my car. Even if this is the last room... More

When this reviewer suggested that "If its the last room in town, sleep in your car." I guess it may have been, but this guest obviously did not take her own advise. My staff reported that this guest saw the room, then decided to look elsewhere, and came back later and took it. This is one of our "economy" rooms... More

Paper thin walls , you can hear everything going on outside your room . Candy wrappers underneath bed . I would have left , but I was with a tour group and didn't want to get separated from the tour . Not a place I would stay again

Thank you for your review. Your comments about candy wrappers under the bed is important. We have been changing out all the bed frames with bed boxes that would prevent this from taking place. I will have our staff review how many beds may still need the boxes installed. Thank you. As for the "paper thin" walls, needless to say,... More

I'm sorry you lost your charger. When this type of this occurs, it seems that the hotel is often blamed. The bottom line however is that it is not our fault if you lost something. In many cases people later find the charger tucked in an outside pocket of their suitcase, dropped into a backpack or at the bottom of... More

Pool not advertised as 4 feet deep, tiny, nothing to swim in, and not at all appropriate for small children. No internet access all evening. A wad of hair plugging the tub drain. Ancient television with poor reception. Old room, old wiring, no available plugs for recharging devices. No security on door leading to back parkng lot. Wide open. Outrageous... More

The swim spa is a small refreshing pool in a beautiful private courtyard. It is not Olympic-sized and was never advertised as such. I believe that any body of water is not suitable for small children without direct supervision. There are specially made wading pools for little kids but I don't know of any in West Yellowstone. It is my... More
