It is fact that there were "a lot of" inconvenients. For example, there are no plug and no light in room and restroom is a little far away. However, just like camping, there are two carried light, and you can burn woods in room to generate heat. The day that I lived in was a sunny day, so I am... More

I think how you feel about this place depends very much on your expectations going in. If you expect it to be a campground then you'll be very impressed. If you are expecting it to be a hotel in tents, then you'll probably be disappointed. Over all my brother and I had fun here. First of all, there is no... More

We arrived to find the campground was flooded out. No call had been made to warn us. People just standing around not knowing what to do. After pressing somebody did work to get us a room someplace else in town for twice the price, which we were told was the only one. I feel sorry for anyone who came after... More

Our family of 15 had 4 tents and arrived after dark on a rainy night. The staff was super nice and helpful. Tents were sturdy and beds were very comfortable. No complaints from the kids who slept on the cots either. Wood burning stoves in the tents were nice if you knew how to keep the fire going. The staff... More

We stayed on a night when the temperature dropped to 39. There was not enough wood and what we had was green so it would not burn unless blow torched be staff and definitely would not last through night. Woke up at 2:00 in the morning and gave some cover to grandsons so they could at least be warm. Thought... More

Expect a cold night with a smoke filled tent if you try to use the supplied wet wood (and almost no kindling). The on site restaurant was first rate, truly fabulous. The tents were not as deluxe as we had experienced on Safari, we hope they take it to a higher level.

We greatly apologize for the wood challenge... It has rained everyday for the past week and this year is the wettest in 7 years. It is very difficult to keep all wood dry as we are at 100 Percent Occupancy nightly which means we have to restock wood in every wood burning stove tent. No Excuse.. It is our Fault... More

This is a great place to stay for a slightly more luxurious camping experience. Staff were very helpful and the tents were comfy with all the necessities. We stayed in a standard tent which was perfectly comfy. There was good trout fishing in the river running through the camp too! The ranch restaurant next door does great food.

That is Fantastic that you got to fish the Madison during your stay... It is one of our best kept secrets.. Our guests swim, fish wade and kayak right there in the camp. Thank you for your wonderful comments and telling all of your experience. Welcome to our Under Canvas Family! More

We stayed for a night and found it very pleasant. The beds were very comfortable and the view in the morning was beautiful. The showers were fine and the breakfast was very nice. That said, $200 a night is too much to charge for a tent - at least without a Continental breakfast.

Thank you for the time and attention to post your review for all to see. I apologize for the challenge with a continental breakfast... However, we do not offer this as there is no food allowed on camp due to the wildlife. This is a life safety policy that is in place to protect our guests and team. We are... More

To be in such a beautiful setting with a very accommodating staff, hot showers, clean communal bathrooms and in a nicely furnished tent was a highlight for our family trip. Best beds EVER. We visited with several groups and had a nice night. Overall we enjoyed it; however, it was disappointing you can't cook out at all. Not really camping to me. There is zero privacy from sounds, so don't get too excited about private bathrooms. There's no privacy. Showers are difficult but doable in the small space. All in... More

" BEST BEDS EVER" Thank you for your input in regards to the Bathrooms and Cooking.
