We stayed here two nights, there were three of us: dad, and 2 adult children (24, and 27). The first night we had a deluxe safari tent with adjacent tipi and adjacent bathroom tipi. (1) The sleeping tipi had 2 cots with multi-layered sleeping bags--it get's pretty cold there at night. There was no stove or heat source. (2) The... More

It was great. We arrived around 11pm since we drove up from California. When we arrived everyone was very accommodating. They showed us around and got us situated even though our arrival was so late. The location was fantastic and the rooms were great. We couldn't figure out how to start the fire, but we still managed to stay warm... More

In an effort to process my thoughts, I usually wait a few days to write my reviews. This review, however, is being written at 7 am, while I seethe in my warm and comfortable cot. Yellowstone Under Canvas deserves a lot of credit for successfully executing the concept of "glamping". My son and I stayed in a deluxe tent, which... More

Don't waste your time or money. Located in the middle of an open field. Save some money, buy a tent and sleeping bag and stay at KOA which is just prior to the entrance to Yellowstone under canvas. You'll be money ahead at a more accommodating facility. Oh try to find their cancellation policy. It is brutal.

We had reservations for two days, but left after one night. The signs say quiet time after 11 PM, but a group if guys arrived late and were laughibg, screaming and drinking till nearly 1 am. The cots were very uncomforable abs the college workers there were too busy driving back and forth of the golf carts. The bathroom facikities... More

My husband and I stayed in a Safari tent with a king bed. Yes, a real bed! After a full day of exploring Yellowstone, it was the perfect combination of comfort and adventure; a natural extension of the Yellowstone experience. You do have to sign a waiver acknowledging that in the event of high winds or lightning, the staff will... More

Priceline site was confusing on this one. We thought we reserved safari tents with beds but turned out with tipis and camp cots. Sleeping bags are double lined and then an additional fleece liner so no problems keeping warm. Camp cots darned uncomfortable, but that's just me. My kids thought it was a great adventure. Shared bathroom was much nicer... More

The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful! While the cots in the teepee were fine, I mean, they were cots so how luxuriously comfortable could they be?? LOL I would probably book one of their luxury tents next time. The scenery was beautiful. If we're ever in the area again, would definitely stay again!! Stay here, you won't be disappointed.... The staff was awesome, the night sky breath taking. It does get cold especially when the stove goes out but come prepared with warm clothe and the covers are more then sufficient. We also brought our dog and everyone was great with him. Definitely want to experience the other locations

Yellowstone Under Canvas, popped up as a quick inexpensive get away. My 70 year old mother had always wanted to see Yellowstone. This was perfect. We rented the safari tent which had a wood burning stove, King size bed, dresser, two chairs and two battery operated lanterns. When we checked in, Neena, checked us in and took our luggage to...
