Outside, it was looking a little questionable. Inside the room was much better than I expected. I would used this Motel again if I went to Yellowstone. Location is good, close to the park and closer to several places to eat. I think is is a good value.

This hotel is the closest to the West gate of Yellowstone. The managers office has no bell but it seemed they were always on site. The hotel is very dated(think 1970's) and I am sure at the end of the season the staff is about done. We don't ask for much so we didn't expect a lot. The rooms are... More

We tried to book Yellowstone Inn but they mixed up the dates so we were lucky to get a room here. It is dated however very clean and roomy. Very good value. There is no coffee but there are places to get that right around the corner. We liked that we could walk to the museum, IMAX, wolf and bear... More

This is a "mom and pop" place now owned by the grandson of the original owner. It's on a quiet street. The other side of the street is the park. While the place is old it is very well kept up. They had new furnishings, light fixtures, carpet, and mirrors. The paint colors were bright and looked recently done. Nothing... More

Room was fine, we arrived early afternoon from SLC but room wouldn't be available until 4 pm - 9pm......fair enough and we spent the afternoon inYellowstone, returned at 6 worn out. Had an upstairs room but the corridor was pitch black and key wouldn't work, finally pushed the door and it opened. Went straight to bed exhausted. Next morning got... More

We spent 4 nights at Al's Westward Ho Motel for about 150 $/night booked through 3rd party in January. We got a 2-room suite with 3 queen beds, smoothly functioning WiFi and a friendly service. Since the room was located on the second floor at the end of the block, we had 4 windows altogether which could be left open... More

The rooms were nice and large, but our hallway was wicked dark. Also I'd say offer ice, or a mini fridge. Pretty pricey for the total lack of amenities. But clean, recently renovated and spacious. Also good walking distance to most of West Yellowstone.

While the property may be retro it is very clean, well run and comfortable. No A/C no fridge no coffee pot no electronic door locks. WHAT more could an older person want or need. Extremely quiet parking at your door for convenience. New flat screen TV if you are into that No breakfast but McDonalds just down the street .... More

The property is OK, at walking distance from shops and restaurants. There is no breakfast. The rooms are clean and everything was working well but take a shower early in the morning as the hot water might run out and this was the case our first morning at 7.30 am. Check in and check out were very fast and accurate... More

We spent last night at Al's. (Two couples/two rooms.) There are no frills at Al's. No phone, no coffee pot, no hair drier. However, we weren't there for amenities. The rooms were super clean and roomy. The bathroom was a good size. Al's is very well maintained. We'd stay here again.
