Won't stay here again or suggest to anyone! The man that runs it is incredibly rude. I felt we didn't have a lot of privacy. It was hot in our room as well. And it dropped to 40 degrees how is it hot? Idk the owner made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. Don't follow me around!

Here's the best reasons to stay at the funky Holiday Motel: it's close to downtown, if's most affordable, and it's safe and clean and you park right outside your door. Just look past the surroundings (location and building are tired). FYI there isn't an ice machine, but the rooms do have a small fridge and microwave. Several blocks from the... More

If you know anything about West Yellowstone you know that the vast majority of hotels / motels are old mom & pop type facilities and not name brand corporate resorts. You also know that it is a summer resort town and rooms are always at a premium - not uncommon to see $300 a night rooms. When I saw the... More

The owner's we're extremely nice. Our visit to Yellowstone wasn't well planned but we were lucky they had a room. It was clean and comfy. There was no ac but the windows opened and there was a fan and it was very comfortable. If you're looking for upscale and over priced this isn't your place. If you're looking for affordable... More

For your next Yellowstone Park vacation try the Holiday Motel (not the Holiday Inn). It is located several blocks from the west gate of the Park and the main part of town. Small but clean and well kept. Friendly staff and much less expensive than the major hotels. Best bargain for the money.

I was here for my 2nd stay the second week of September and it was like coming home. Lisa and Jeff treat their guests like company, not just someone to check in and collect the money. When I stayed here in 2013 I made some suggestions to Jeff and I found them implemented! I found a desk chair, a power... More

While coming out of the Park from Mammoth, and stopping for the construction at Norris, we picked up a huge nail in our tire... A good Samaritan from American Fork Utah stopped with his two sons and changed our tire for us.. After traveling 40 miles going thirty miles an hour on our doughnut spare, we arrived in West Yellowstone... More

We planned a last minute trip to Yellowstone national park early this summer(2014) and not surprisingly, most places were either - already booked or very expensive. Luckily, we found this place and given a tight budget, we decided to settle for Holiday Motel after checking out some online reviews. True to it's online reputation, the place turned out to be... If you are looking for fancy décor, upscale linens or breakfast on site, then do NOT stay here. If you want to spend a lot of money, do NOT stay here. However, if you are looking for a place that has the atmosphere of the park at a very reasonable price, then this is the place to be. I stayed... More

The motel is located away from the main street in West Yellowstone. The rooms very sufficiently large and had a fridge, microwave and a coffee maker. However, the floor planning was ridiculous. The electric devices were piled in a dark corner, and the toilet blocks part of the bathroom entrance. There was no table and chairs to drink coffee. The... More

Thank you for taking time to write a review. Our little Holiday Motel is a work in progress. We think that room is adorable! Ironically, you stayed in the same room as the reviewer who commented above this review. Different strokes for different folks I guess. The Holiday Motel was built in the early 1950's. There is little we can... More
