We arrived at Yellowstone National Park without reservations and, of course, the place was booked solid, even in late September. So, we drove into West Yellowstone since that’s the most convenient gateway city. There are places on the main drag – Yellowstone Avenue – but after some searching online, we chose the Holiday Motel. It’s a nice quiet budget motel... More

I would recommend this motel. We booked for three a three night stay in the motel , however after getting caughtout by a huge hold up at security at Las Vegas airport we missed our plane. Phoned to say would be a day late getting there, no problem was the reassuring reply. We arrived to find that there was no... More

Spacious room, comfortable beds, nice owners. Like in most hotels and motels in the US, the walls are very thin, therefore you can hear your neighbors very good. Wifi worked well. Lot of possibilities for food, but nothing inside the motel. Totally fine for one night, if you have a car.

This is a "family run" motel. We stayed 4 nights. Soap and in-room coffee was only refreshed once (by specific request) and never again after that request. Pillows are flat. Our room was separated from the neighboring room by a hollow core door. So when we had neighbors (2 nights) they may as well have been in our room with... More

Located on a backstreet on the outskirts of town. Looks worn out from the 60s. The room has been updated since then and was clean and comfortable. The walls between the rooms are paper thin and the conversations in the next room were clear as a bell. Annoying lack of privacy for all concerned.

We were in Room 8. Good size. Has fridge, microwave, Flat screen TV, dish network, king size bed, very comfortable. Owners are very friendly. No breakfast but within walking distance of the Running Bear Pancake House.

This was one of the least expensive motels I found in West Yellowstone for our trip in August, and because the reviews were mostly pretty good, I took a chance. They also advertised having recently done a complete updating/renovation, which I thought was a good sign. Where to start?? The owner was friendly, and apologized for not having finished everything... More

We arrived at Holiday Motel because we were late in planning Yellowstone and this was the only place available in our budget. At the time, having been travelling for 3 months, on an extended US sabbatical, we had quite a bit to compare it to. We stayed for 3 nights. The booking process provided us with the most friendly communication... More

Won't stay here again or suggest to anyone! The man that runs it is incredibly rude. I felt we didn't have a lot of privacy. It was hot in our room as well. And it dropped to 40 degrees how is it hot? Idk the owner made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. Don't follow me around!

Here's the best reasons to stay at the funky Holiday Motel: it's close to downtown, if's most affordable, and it's safe and clean and you park right outside your door. Just look past the surroundings (location and building are tired). FYI there isn't an ice machine, but the rooms do have a small fridge and microwave. Several blocks from the... More
