Great, friendly owner/manager on site. Impeccable restrooms, showers, dishwashing, laundry facilities. Shady sites. Like everything in West Yellowstone, a little compact, but we came to see the park and yet thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wagon Wheel. The site is laid out to take advantage of the space they have and the maximize privacy even though it is in town,... More

Wagon Wheel deserves to be #1 here in TA. Why? 1) Ken is the most accommodating manager we've ever encountered. 2) Has the cleanest/neatest restrooms we've seen during our vacation. 3) Cheapest washer/dryer facilities. 4) Lounge / game room is a really nice addition although we didn't have time to use it. 5) Wifi was limited but was upgraded/fixed during... Been visiting Yellowstone annually for a decade, but last year was our first stay at WW, and there was no question about where we would stay on this year's trip. The cabins and grounds are spotless and perfectly maintained. No one could be more friendly and helpful than Ken, who seems to be everywhere at once. And the housekeeping by... More

Based on the reviews of other travelers on TripAdvisor, we contacted Dorit at Wagon Wheel RV Campground and Cabins to see what was available for our July family vacation. Dorit was friendly, so organized and loaded with information - both about the campground and the area. She was in contact with us several times via e-mail prior to our arrival... More

My family traveled from NC to West Yellowstone, Montana in July. After leaving on the 7th and arriving on the 14th via the Grand Canyon, Zion and Brice we were tired to say the least. I have traveled to West Yellowstone since 1993 but never stayed here. We had a hard time finding a place to stay but after contacting... More

We stayed for 8 nights as we explored the greater Yellowstone area. Cabin 1 has a master bedroom, another bedroom with bunkbeds, and a cool loft with two twin beds. It was great for our family. We chose to eat dinner in to save money, and Cabin 1 was well appointed with a full kitchen, including a dishwasher and quality... More

Driving around West Yellowstone with no reservations in July is not recommended. We stopped at 4 different RV Parks. Then we found the WAGON WHEEL. Ken the owner was great. He was all booked up, he gave us the last pull in spot witch was on the outside. HE really didn't want to since it was not the best one... More

We camped here with our 29' travel trailer, kind of by mistake. Another RV park was full and they directed us here. I'm glad they did! The other place was more of a generic, large, concrete RV park. Wagon Wheel was so much better. Ken, the owner, was very friendly, provided us with many maps of the area, and even... More

As others have said, The Cabins are the best and Ken is the best. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in this area. We spent 5 days in Yellowstone, Wagon Wheel is the best place to start and end the day. Located at the edge of town. We will definitely be returning. The cabins have a diary to leave a note for... More

We stayed in Cabin 6. It was impeccably clean and well maintained. The cabin has two bedrooms and a kitchen. As we were there in September we did not make use of the large fenced-in outdoor space with this cabin. The cabin had a national park feel while having a kitchen and more room to spread out than if staying... More
