We have been visiting John & Carma at Just An Experience for several summers. Playing golf in Ennis, attending the Brewery Follies in Virginia City, and staying at their B&B. This summer, they suggested we come and try New Year's Eve. What a blast! The food, as always was tremendous. The cabin is so cozy and relaxing. We shared it... More

I stayed here in July after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor. I could not have found a more fitting place to stay, as everything was so perfect.. John & Carma are the most welcoming hosts ever. The cabin I stayed in was so fitting for the sourroundings. It was rustic inside and out. It was located off the highway... More

We recently spent 4 nights at “Just an Experience” and it was terrific. John and Carma are the most delightful hosts, very friendly and very knowledgeable about the history, geology, flora and fauna, activities and culture of the surrounding area. The breakfasts were amazing, each day a different menu, and a delicious start to the day. We had a charming... More

We stayed during July for a 4-H Western Heritage Shooting competition. John and Carma were such a delight! We loved the time we spent with them, and wished we could have stayed longer! The food was wonderful. The cabin we stayed in was so much fun for our two boys. They really loved sleeping in the loft! They also loved... More

We just stayed one night as we were traveling from Yellowstone, but it was a fabulous place to stay. They have cabins but we stayed in a room in the house which was just fine. Breakfast was one of the best we've had. There is a great show at a nearby brewery you should see, too. It's gaudy and hilarious.... More

Found John and Carma's place on tripadvisor and couldn't have been more pleased! This was a great spot to stop on the way though the area and was delighted with "Experience"! Virginia City and Nevada City are worth visiting on their own and this is the place to stay. Enjoy!!

We plan our trips around this place just to have an excuse to stay here! Stayed here many times over the years and consider John and Carma among our list of best friends! I've stayed here on business, hunting trips, and family vacations and find it is always hard to leave because it is such a relaxing and wonderful experience.... More

Been coming to Nevada city for 17 years. This year 2013 labor day weekend i could not get my "favorite" cabin in Nevada city for one of the nights in the middle of my stay..so i gave just an experience a call...what an amazing amazing experience we had. The first stay we never even left the yard and cabin it... More

I had a room in the main building, it had no number and felt like someone's bedroom. The room is pretty basic and the bathroom is shared, but I had it to myself. The bed, pillows, shower and towels were fine. Thankfully there was WIFI and the breakfast was social and good. This is the kind of place that succeeds... More

We love big hotels and resorts, so my husband and I were a bit apprehensive about a ghost town bed and breakfast, but we really wanted to see Nevada City and Virginia City, MT. We were in for a treat! At first it was hard to get used to staying in someone's house, but it didn't take long to warm... More
