We stayed in cabin one and the description does my do it justice. The cabin is beautiful and tucked away by a bend in the river. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Everything you needed for cooking great meal was available in the kitchen and the living area was spacious and comfortable. The loft was open and homey with lots... More

What can I add that hasn't already been said? My daughter and I spent only 2 nights at this beautiful, tranquil, secluded cabin #2 and had to force ourselves to leave. It was truly a relaxing respite - exactly what we were looking for - just wish it could have been a longer stay. There was evidence of wildlife around... More

The cabin we stayed at was very clean and peaceful. The canoe and kayak were steps away and the stream was crystal clear. My wife and I went for a spur of the moment canoe trip that was wonderful. We saw deer turkeys and canadian geese while at the cabin. The host were very easy to book with and everything... More

KRO offers you a home away from home. Not only are the views spectacular, you can bring your dogs with you!. The cabins are beautifully furnished and the view from the deck is beyond compare. The river is just outside the back door. I had my morning tea down by the river on a bench. It was serene. My family... More

My Dad, a buddy and I just spent 5 nights in cabin 1, and what a great vacation. The cabin itself and the property on which it is located are beautiful and quite secluded. The owners couldn't be more friendly and if you get a chance to take a guided trip with the fly shop Jan is great. Just close... More

Loved this place. It is quite private, the cabins are very clean and well stocked and the decor is inviting and homey. The view from the cabin was spectacular, and you are able to enjoy it from your large deck with comfortable table and chairs. The wifi was working well, which was important as cell coverage is sketchy at best,... More

I'm with the other reviewers in not wanting to review this vacation rental because then it will be harder for me to reserve it when I want to. I grew up in the area and wanted my children to experience what I did as a child. This cabin was perfect. They played in the creek for hours. Bull lake is... More

I almost hesitate to give the KRO property the excellent review they deserve, because then more people will know about these incredible accommodations and amazing river to fish and/or hike. In addition, if I knew about this property in advance I would have booked a longer stay. On a different note, I thought Robert was a great guy that generously... More

Cabin rental is phenomenal! We packed a few items anticipating that they wouldn't have it and ate surprised that we have yet to unpack any of it. Our dogs love hiking around the area and playing in the creek. The weather is hot but the cabin stays nice and cool and gives us a great break from the sun. You... More

My review will most likely fail to convey how wonderful Kootenai River Outfitters cabins are. My husband and I, with our two friends stayed here for seven wonderful days. We stayed in cabin 3, and some of our other friends stayed in Cabin 2. Both were exceptionally clean, stocked with all the necessities, and beyond comfortable. Dishes, frying pans, everything......
