The folks who worked to update, upgrade, and preserve the integrity of this 100+ year hotel worked hard! No detail was missed. My woodworker husband inspected the workmanship and came away very impressed. Jacob greeted us upon arrival. He knows his stuff regarding the history of the building and was very cordial. You'll find yourself looking around, but don't forget... More

This is a historic hotel with connections to one of the most celebrated historical transcontinental railroads in the U.S. - the Milwaukee Road. Located in downtown Three Forks, Montana - the Sacajawea Hotel is a dominant structure in this small town. Over 100 years old and maintaining most of its original historic charm, the Sacajawea has many modern amenities as... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for the nice review. I appreciate your feedback and will be passing along your remarks to our staff. Thank you for recognizing the preservation side of our renovation project. This was a labor of love for this old hotel, and we are thrilled with the results. I completely understand the room over the bar, which I... More

This historic property is worth a look if you enjoy historic places. Do not check in expecting modern conveniences. If you can live without a coffee pot and microwave in your room I think you will enjoy the stay. There is a nice coffee bar down the hall open from 6 a.m. and although the rooms are on the small... Highly recommend a stop over to enjoy this beautiful lady! The staff is top notch greeting you with a warm lavender hand towel and a flute of sparkling wine! The small touches continued throughout our stay. And the restaurant in the hotel is well worth your time as well. The food was phenomenal! Something you would find in a big... More

This historic landmark is beautiful, rustic, and comfortable. All the furnishing are authentic for the period that the Sacajawea was built. The rooms are luxurious, right down to the candy and complimentary robe. We felt pampered and didn't want to leave!

Our friends recommended the Sacajawea Hotel for it's exceptional restaurant - what we didn't know was how wonderful our overall experience would be! The hotel is on the Historic Register - and a real treat to have "boutique-style" amenities. The staff was friendly and attentive - the rooms, while small, were well situated and very clean. The bathroom was updated... More

This hotel is the perfect blend of historic charm and modern amenities. Check in was quick and elegant (I'll let you be surprised). There wasn't an elevator, so we had to walk up two flights of stairs to our third floor room. The room was nicely remodeled and very well appointed. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom spacious, and some... More

An old 19th railroad, the Sacajawea hotel oozes western charm. Greeted with a glass of champaign, we were led to our room on the third floor. The room was decorated with a western motif and spacious. All of the usual amenities were available but were of a higher quality. Breakfast was either available through room service at no extra charge... More

There aren't many reasons I have for being in Three Forks but it is a stop along the way on a long road trip and worth the short diversion to stay overnight at this historic hotel. The story of Sacajawea is there for you to read and I felt a certain connection stopping here. We have stayed before and its is... More

,, the staff was fantastic; very professional, helpful and going out of their way to make it an unforgettable dining experience. I don't know how long it sat in the kitchen before it was served; the beans... More
