We stayed at the Sacajawea on our way to Yellowstone 2 weeks ago. Amazed to find such a wonderful hotel in a small town. Off the Interstate enough to not hear the traffic noise, and close enough for convenience. The hotel is beautiful inside and out! Huge front porch with comfy chairs, large lawn (husband and son tossed the football... More

Three Forks is a small town about 30 miles from Bozeman MT that contains this old, beautifully renovated, railroad inn. On checkin we were offered a glass of champagne and a continental breakfast (on real plates!) was delivered to our door the next morning. Our room with queen size bed was small though well appointed, but the expansive front porch... More

Love this place! Wish we could stay more than one night. Beautifully restored hotel that retains historic character. Clean and comfortable. Lots of luxurious extras - the bath products include lip balm, the lavender relaxing spray by the bed, the essential oil diffuser... And the stay included breakfast in bed!

My husband had made reservations at this hotel based on his friend's recommendation who lived just a few miles from Three Forks. We had just begun our ten-day road trip from Wonderful Wyoming headed to Washington State, and we had our four-month old Golden Retriever puppy along for the ride. So, we needed a pet-friendly hotel. Did I say that... More

This is the fourth historic hotel we have stayed in this past month. All share a few characteristics: The rooms are too small "to swing a cat," as the old saying goes. These were the smallest yet, with barely enough room to store the bags. The location, however was wonderful, near the confluence of the Jefferson, Madison, and Gallatin Rivers,... More

We took in the golf package, a night at the hotel plus a round of golf. The golf was great, but the hotel was wonderful! As we checked in we were offered a complimentary glass of champagne plus an iced towel to refresh with. How nice! Room isn't large, but we don't plan on spending much time in it. Great... More

We checked in the Sacajawea around 3:00 pm and we were given a room that was hardly big enough for the bed. It only took a few seconds to realize three people were NOT going to fit in that room. We went down to the desk and asked for the room that we reserved (John Colter room), and she said... More

We only had dinner but would certainly like to stay there too. A beautifully restored hotel, very tastefully decorated. Dinner was superb off one of the nicest menus I've seen in Montana. Excellent service, a little pricey but we thought it was well worth it and hope to return on our next trip to Montana.

We were on a cross-country trip, and booked this on a whim. We were delighted with everything about this place, from the beautiful restoration to the excellent dining. The front desk folks were especially helpful, and we happened to stay on an evening with live music on the porch. Breakfast is brought to you on a tray in the morning.... More

This beautiful historic hotel was our destination for a June wedding, and we spent four nights. Because my traveling companion, Carrieanna, uses a wheelchair and cannot walk, she needs an accessible room. We spent many hours on the phone with the event coordinator to ensure that the room we reserved would have an accessible bathroom. Carrieanna was initially given room... More
