My partner and I stayed at the Sacajawea Hotel in Three Forks over a recent Sunday and Monday. From our earliest phone conversations around reservations, changes to the original reservations, discussions around various room options (with employee Christina running up two flights of stairs to look at a room she hadn't seen but wanted to be able to describe), and... This is categorized as one of the "Historic Hotels of America". It was beautifully refurbished in 2010 and is a class act. We were welcomed by Jacob, one of the best front desk people we've ever encountered, with a glass of very nice complementary champagne. Being an old hotel, the rooms themselves are relatively small but there are many common... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights based on the good TripAdviser reviews, and our recent stay was indeed very enjoyable. The rooms were very clean and nice. There is a good, light breakfast that is included with the price of the room, and is delivered to your room at your designated time. We stayed here while exploring the... More

What a classy place this was. I reserved a room here because it was a restored historic hotel. But it turned out to be even better than I imagined. Upon arrival we received cold washcloths and cold champagne (it was a HOT day). We had a very nice room which came with robes, chocolates, and nice soft towels, all with... More

Well what can I say. This hotel is really, really wonderful. We stayed twice in a 15 day tour of Montana. Firstly the bell boy, Cameron, was so helpful with our bags, useful because there is no lift there. We checked in and were greeted with a complimentary glass of champagne and cold towels, well needed after a long day... More

Worth the stay and drive to this quaint and historical town. It has first class service, a fun bar, and it is so comfortable to stay here while traveling. I loved it. Lots of first class amenities here, the bath items, robes, mouth wash, free to your room breakfast of your choice, try the montana wheat pastry. to die for....only... More

Walking up to the huge porch to enter the hotel for check-in really set the tone for this adorable gem. There were plenty of rocking chairs for people to sit in while listening to a talented local folk band playing right out front on a Thursday of all days. I actually felt like I was back in Ireland. Walking into... More

The Sacajawea is a beautiful, comfortable historic property with wonderful staff that made me feel right at home. The hotel has maintained features original to the building, which gives it an old west feel. The room I stayed in was cozy and spotless, with a nice mountain view. A beautiful wrap-around porch is filled with comfy chairs and rockers. The... More

Splendidly-restored, century-old hotel. Originally just an inn for travelers, the rooms are on the small side, but well-furnished and cozy, with full bath en suite; very quiet at night. Lobby is beautiful, calm and not overdecorated, covered front porch is lovely, furnished with rocking chairs and cushy armchairs. City street parking without meters is plentiful and close to main entrance.... More

Thank you very much for the review. I really appreciate your input on the bus parking outside of the hotel. They usually drop guests off then park in the gravel lot. I will work on this issue. I was traveling home from a work trip in Grand Teton and needed to find a place to stay. One of my friends recommended this place. I was quite surprised to find a 5 star hotel and restaurant in such a small town. Very well done historical hotel. The service was perfect. Quite a change from the over priced marginal... More
