Pleasantly surprised and happy to have found such a wonderful place to stay. CLEAN! Very comfortable beds and all for a great price. Couldn't have been happier with this motel. Excellent service at the front desk--friendly and knowledgeable. Have been in the hospitality business for 12 years and this is a winner!

The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and congenial. Anne was the most gracious host ever, always making sure we had everything we needed, plus more. Fresh pastries and hot coffee served throughout the day, samples of candied nuts, and items to purchase had we so chosen. Balcony rooms in a historical hotel, the ambiance was out of this world.... We recently held a Ford V8 meet in Three Forks and choose the Lewis & Clark Motel as our headquarters. We were very satisfied and very spoiled. Ann & Lisa and crew were nothing but the finest of Hostesses, from our rooms to the banquet we were treated with kindness and made to feel very welcome. The banquet was out... More

From the other reviews here, I expected at least a Holiday-Inn level hotel. The outside of the building, and the lobby itself, were beautiful, and the one person who worked there was quite friendly. And the flowers out front were very nice. There was also a nice big chunk of talc stone in the room that, once I figured out... More

A group of us were riding back to Oregon and Washington from a trip to Sturgis and we couldn't get rooms in Bozeman or Belgrade so this place in Three Forks was chosen. We were all quite impressed with the beds and the sheets. I can only think of one other motel that had a bed as comfortable as this... More

You won't find a warmer welcome any where. The place is older but quite nice. It really does feel like a home. Beautiful flower gardens out front, georgeous restaurant/bar area and nice cozy rooms. Food is out of this world, every thing is home made. In a nice quiet part of town. Well worth the stop.

We were camping our way out to Glacier and needed to spend a night in a motel because of the situation at the local State Park in Three Forks. We happened onto the Lewis and Clark and were treated like old friends. The place just reeks with the charm of the old railroad days. We could hardly have chosen a... More

This motel is located in a small city in Montana, sufficiently far from the interstate you can't hear the traffic. Ginger cookies and banana bread greet guests in the front lobby. Checkin was quick and efficient, and we were given the choice between rooms in different sections of the hotel. We chose the older section which has the giftof new... More
